Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – The Time of Joseph’s Troubling Control 1-17-24

When we read the account of Joseph, and how God turned what was meant for evil into good, we rightly see that his difficult circumstances led to the salvation of the Jewish people. What we seldom reflect on is the nature of what happened to the people in Egypt due to the terrible famine, and Joseph’s solutions to their dire problems. As beneficial as this situation ultimately turned out for the Jews, I wonder how the Egyptians eventually fared in the aftermath of this impossible time? More relevant to us today is how what we see played out then models what will happen as we close in on the fulfillment of the Agenda 2030 objectives.
Several years ago, I wrote an article titled: Egypt’s Famine – Template for Today. In that piece I added a fictional projection of what one couple might experience when faced with no alternatives. It’s rather depressing, but one future possibility.
Recall that this is what happened with Joseph in Egypt:
Genesis 47:14: Desperation leads to the unthinkable. The people initially gave all their money to the government so as to have food.
And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, in exchange for the grain that they bought. And Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh’s house.
Genesis 47:17: Naturally it got worse. They had to give up all their possessions in order to eat.
So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the herds, and the donkeys. He supplied them with food in exchange for all their livestock that year.
Genesis 47:18b, 20 then sets up the final scenario that brought the people of Egypt under total control of Pharaoh:
“There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land.”
So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh, for all the Egyptians sold their fields, because the famine was severe on them. The land became Pharaoh’s.
Genesis 47:21 tells us the end game:
As for the people, he made servants of them from one end of Egypt to the other.
KJV: And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.
In Egypt, Joseph required the people to work their former lands as before. They had to give Pharaoh twenty percent of their crops and were allowed to retain the rest for their own consumption.
However, they had no bodily autonomy – they were servants/slaves. Even more interesting is that the government moved the people to the cities. Was this so it could oversee them better and control them more efficiently?
Presumably during the famine years, not much came of these efforts, but the circumstances didn’t change once they exited the final seven years. Pharaoh continued to own the people and all they did. They owned nothing themselves. This scenario led to the absolute enslavement of the Jews, requiring God’s mighty hand in the Exodus to free them.
In a similar vein, I’ve warned in a Prophecy Update titled: Another Two-fer: War Cry & Two Financial Bombshells Looming about how CBDCs, i.e. Central Bank Digital Currencies, are not the be-all and end-all for financial control of all the peoples in this world. There is a more pernicious system of control that is being built that will do much more than give the global elites power over your checking account. The Unified Ledger – whatever it’s ultimately called – will bring into a single blockchain database every financial element of people’s lives. It will include not just the CBDCs that reflect our current checking account that is digitally associated with our social credit score and dealt with accordingly, but everything else financially related, including stocks, bonds, property, etc. The Unified Ledger promises to provide the government with a comprehensive view of our economic situations, so as to give even more control of our useless carbon existence.
How long will it be before government efforts at creating famine conditions take us on a trajectory similar to what Joseph enacted in Egypt? All our money gets used; we give title deed of our houses to our overlords, plus any possessions we own. Eventually there’s nothing left but to sell our bodies. Once they own us, they can move us into their Smart 24/7 Surveillance Cities. We won’t have a choice. Sounds like a fun life.
Another element of this financial surveillance system just became effective on January 1, 2024. You may have thought that you had Fourth Amendment protection against unwarranted search and eventually seizure; but were you mistaken! What silly Constitution and Bill of Rights were you reading?
In 2021 the National Defense Authorization Act was passed so as to become operative in three years – right now January 1, 2024. It created the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) system to supposedly address the problem of money laundering. If only. As James Rickards reports (Five Link – link #3 – subscription required):
The BOI requires all limited liability companies (LLCs) in the U.S., regardless of size, to report detailed personal information on their owners to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). This new rule applies to 33 million companies. LLCs are not mainly used by large corporations. Instead, they are used by small entrepreneurs in businesses such as restaurants, dry cleaners, auto repair shops, construction firms, and everyday American skilled professionals. FinCEN was established after 9/11 to track terrorist financial activities.
Confirming that law-abiding citizens – primarily on the right – are now considered a danger to the nation – well. . . to the Biden Regime at any rate – anyone with an LLC is on the radar. You’ll recall that we now have an additional 80,000 IRS agents on the fascist payroll. Any guesses as to some of those folks who might be targeted?

The new BOI law requires far more information including full legal name, birth date, current address, Tax ID number, and other identification such as passport information and a driver’s license. Failure to comply can result in two years in prison for each violation. In time, this BOI information will be combined with information from the CBDC ledger and profiling with artificial intelligence (AI) to target you for account freezes and worse. With this information in the hands of FinCEN, a small businessperson can kiss his or her freedom and privacy goodbye.

The bottom line is that the ceiling on the Temple of Doom is closing fast. All the loopholes to circumvent non-compliance are being closed and every means of total surveillance are being enacted, from physical eyes-on in every direction and financially.
The government wants us totally under its thumb and it will achieve that objective. Pretty soon all that we have and own will be surrendered to our overlords just so that we can eat. From there, it’s not a big leap to giving our bodies and souls.
How might that happen, you ask? We all know the answer. It’s called the Mark of the Beast. Yes, this Beast System is being readied, and it’s soon to be unleashed. The world will be at its mercy.
Speaking of loopholes, as mentioned a moment ago, there is one, and only one. Those of us whose Savior and Lord is Jesus Christ now before the Tribulation officially begins have the promise and the reward for our faithfulness that we won’t be here when the worst of this occurs.
We’ll have been snatched from this evil and alien world by Jesus Himself.
My warning to all: Be sure you truly know Christ. Don’t make the mistake that because you have head knowledge, that you’re born-again and will be Raptured. The Lord’s requirement is that we’ve been saved by the Spirit of the Living God who has taken up residence in our hearts. We know we’re redeemed by the fruit of the Spirit that we produce.
I think before we’re air-lifted out of here, we’ll likely see even more of this malevolent plan by Satan’s minions come into effect. I wish it weren’t so, but God’s timing is not ours. It’s highly probable that he has a few more objectives of His own to accomplish in the church and the world before we can leave.
