Over the years I’ve been doing these Commentaries, one of the foremost concepts I’ve constantly urged is that as true believers in Jesus Christ – especially those of us who are watching for His soon return in the pre-Tribulation Rapture – we should double-down on being in God’s Word each and every day.

The striking evidence that the world is growing ever nearer to the tipping point of being no different from the times of Noah and of Lot is becoming clearer every day. To put this into perspective, this article by Peyton Chapman of The Israel Guys provides an inside look at the terror perpetrated on the October 7th Hamas attack on Israel.
A couple months ago, two prominent pastors effectively presented two different scenarios regarding how the pre-Tribulation Rapture of the church might proceed. I follow both of them closely and respect them immensely. Yet the message that came forth from these astute men of God couldn’t differ more as to when the Rapture might happen.
The unprovoked attack by the terrorist group Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 has unleashed the inner demons in the rest of the world – including in the church.
Although many in the alt-right movement correctly – in my opinion – add this to the list of issues and events that the globalist cabal has planned, so that war indeed would result, they as secularists, and also much of Christendom, commenting on this topic totally miss the bigger picture.
Psalm 137:5-6 recounts the ode of the Jewish people:
If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
let my right hand forget its skill!
Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth,
if I do not remember you,
if I do not set Jerusalem
above my highest joy!
Given the fact that the whole world is drunk with hostility toward Israel and the Jews, including a large portion of the professing Christian community, just like this psalm, we also must continue keeping God’s Promised Land and His Chosen People front and center.
A time is coming when draconian rules will be imposed by our US government – acting as the police state it aspires to be – in the name of saving humanity. Are we prepared for that time? Have we practiced for it? Will true Christians experience this dystopian nightmare?
