Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – Leprosy Just a Skin Disease?

Perhaps you’ve noticed in your own Bibles when reading either Old Testament or New Testament accounts, that whenever leprosy is mentioned, there’s inevitably a footnote. Regardless of the context, the footnote reads something like: Leprosy was a term for several skin diseases. Now that’s all well and good, but for the most part – in context – does this make sense?

Awaken Biblical Prophecy Commentary – The Curse of Jesus’ Blood 1-31-24

In recent posts, I’ve addressed serious issues concerning Preterism and other non-pre-Tribulation Rapture doctrines. What I’ve dealt with is a somber reminder that when we don’t read the Word of God as it is literally written – except where it specifically tells us something is symbolic – then false belief systems generally arise from this error.

Biblical Audio Commentary – The Moses Conundrum

The identity of the Two Witnesses has an interesting twist that I don’t think has been discussed much. Three men are identified as possibilities for the Witnesses. Enoch and Elijah are strong candidates because both were Raptured, having never seen death. The other candidate is Moses, yet he died, which could be problematic.

Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 11-29-23: Revelation 12 – Past or Future Interpretation?

About a year and a half ago I spent some time thinking about the coming Antichrist. In so doing, I considered thoughts from various Bible prophecy teachers who wrote books on the subject. My Prophecy Update titled Antichrist Ruminations was the result of my survey.

From that effort, because my article was posted on Rapture Ready, that attracted the attention of Charles (Ken) Bassett who wrote the book: Can We Know? Subsequently, Ken changed the book’s title to: God Says Count the Number 666 – Why the Church Can Discover the Identity of the Antichrist, which can be found on Amazon by that name. He then wrote a subsequent book titled: Empire of the Antichrist – Why the Antichrist Will Come from Rome, which expands his thesis.

Biblical Audio Commentary – C.S. Lewis & Watchers

To the best of my recollection, I read Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis many years ago, well before I was saved. However, if in fact I did read it then, it was totally new to me this time around as I partook of it as an Audiobook. While listening, I worked at making sense of the world that Lewis painted, and finally at the end came to an understanding. I don’t know if the conclusions I came to originated where Lewis was coming from, but I did find an interesting correlation.
