Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 1-3-24 – Hiatus

Here we are in the New Year of 2024  – a year that some have said could have a Black Swan event.  This is what Britannica says concerning this:

Black swan event [is a] high-impact event that is difficult to predict under normal circumstances but that in retrospect appears to have been inevitable. A black swan event is unexpected and therefore difficult to prepare for but is often rationalized with the benefit of hindsight as having been unavoidable.

The description could almost be referring to the Rapture.  Maybe – maybe not.  I know that the majority of you listening to or reading this brief Commentary are certainly rooting for this above all other Black Swan events – as am I.  Beyond that blessed event, there are bunches of other potential America or world disrupting crises that could happen.

The description could almost be referring to the Rapture.  Maybe – maybe not.  I know that the majority of you listening to or reading this brief Commentary are certainly rooting for this above all other Black Swan events – as am I.  Beyond that blessed event, there are bunches of other potential America or world disrupting crises that could happen.

We’ll discuss this and some other developments today.  First, we’ll pray and read from God’s Word.

Scripture:

Habakkuk 1:2-5; 2:1-3

O Lord, how long shall I cry for help,
and you will not hear?
Or cry to you “Violence!”
and you will not save?
Why do you make me see iniquity,
and why do you idly look at wrong?
Destruction and violence are before me;
strife and contention arise.
So the law is paralyzed,
and justice never goes forth.
For the wicked surround the righteous;
so justice goes forth perverted.

“Look among the nations, and see;
wonder and be astounded.
For I am doing a work in your days
that you would not believe if told.

I will take my stand at my watchpost
and station myself on the tower,
and look out to see what he will say to me,

“Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
For still the vision awaits its appointed time;

Hiatus

• It appears as if the mainstream media is absolutely on board with this idea that something dramatic will occur in 2024.
• If that’s the case, the likelihood is high that the MSM has been coached to insert this idea into people’s minds so as to induce fear.
• Because the global elites like to predict coming disasters, since they’re the ones who cause them, it’s quite probable that such an event will happen this year – one not necessarily originated by God.

• I’ve often stated that I firmly believe in the absolutely Biblical doctrine of the pre-Tribulation Rapture, but that it might not happen until sometime in 2025 due to God’s possible desire to get His church on board.
• This doesn’t mean it’s not imminent, nor does it mean that it might not happen in 2024; my personal take has simply been one that sees God wanting to accomplish certain things in the hearts of many believers before He snatches us out of here.
• I hope I’m wrong.
• The sooner the better.
• But God’s going to do what He does when He decides it’s time to do it.

• In the meantime, after significant consideration on this subject and much prayer, I’ve determined to pull back a little on these Wednesday Awaken Bible Prophecy Updates.
• My intent is to continue providing my regular Friday Biblical Audio Commentaries.
• Thus, my plan is to do just the one public effort each week looking at the world through a Biblical, prophetic lens.

• You might ask: With Bible prophecy events ramping up and spinning out of control. . .
• Why would I do fewer analyses of the world as seen through this glass darkly?

• There are a couple reasons:

1. I have some book projects that I’d really like to do before we’re Raptured.

• As some of you are aware, I’ve been working on a fiction series based on the Tribulation judgments that I call the Tribulation Chronicles.
• The books are novellas, i.e. shorter novels, that deal with the lives of numerous people as they encounter the many plagues and difficulties these seven years will bring.

• The first two books are currently available:

Tribulation Rising – Seal Judgments

Tribulation Terror – Trumpet Judgments

• I’ve completed writing the third book and have begun editing. Its title is:

Tribulation Woe – Midpoint Desecration

• This novella addresses the many horrific events that occur just at the halfway point of the Tribulation.
• I’m hoping to release this book sometime in February.

• What I think will be the fourth, and probably concluding, novella in the series will address the final Judgments in Revelation.
• My current title for that book is:

Tribulation Wrath – Bowl Judgments

• I’m hedging a little here because I never know when the muse might strike and lead me to a pre-Tribulation prequel or a post-Tribulation sequel.
• I’d probably be shooting to get Tribulation Wrath out in late summer.

• On top of this fiction project, there are some non-fiction ones I wouldn’t mind completing this year as well.

• I’d like to assemble the transcripts of my Bible Prophecy Updates and Biblical Audio Commentaries for 2022 and 2023 into several volumes.
• The ideas I put forth are fairly timeless for these current times, i.e. they are evergreen, as the saying goes; so for anyone wanting to review in one place from a prophetic perspective what I’ve written these last couple years, that would be available.

• Finally, as for books, in my last half-year reading of the entire Bible, I undertook to note a large number of Scriptures that correlate with my controversial thesis that deliberate and persistent sin by born-again believers has consequences.
• My notes chronicle both New and Old Testament verses that I think make a very strong case for what I’ve outlined many times. . .
• Namely that the idea of Salvation = Rapture may be problematic thinking, and actually causes potential harm to individuals who are definitely saved but living in rebellion and disobedience to the Lord’s commands.

• The trick with all these references will be to assemble them into a volume that can be a reference but will also be readable.

• From all this you can see I’ve got an ambitious work load planned with no idea if I’ll complete any of it because of Rapture uncertainty.

• One thing you can take to the bank is that every single believer on the planet will be in the middle of something that God (presumably) has tasked us with when the Rapture occurs.
• Literally everything will be left undone by those whom Jesus harpazo-s to His Father’s house.

• As a result, our job is to move forward in obedience with what the Lord has put on our hearts, while always anticipating and watching for that marvelous day when Christ brings us home.

2. The other major reason I’ve considered going on this hiatus, i.e. not putting out a regular Wednesday Prophecy Update, is that in general I’ve covered most of the basics concerning the various converging signs.

• Yes, there is always a new twist to what we’ve already spoken of, but it’s not new overall.
• I’m just having trouble rationalizing spending so much time each week rehashing a lot of what is pretty much already known.
• It usually takes me two-three days to write and edit the Prophecy Updates.
• I want my efforts to have some freshness and uniqueness to them, so cutting back to the single Commentary each week seems like the way to do this, while giving me the extra time to work on the book projects.

• That’s not to say that if developments in the world warrant greater and/or more in-depth prophetically-oriented coverage that I wouldn’t end up with Wednesday Prophecy Updates on an intermittent basis.
• I very likely would.

• That’s the reason I’m calling this a hiatus.
• It’s a temporary hold of indefinite timeframe.
• We’ll see how things develop and what makes sense for me to do in obedience to the leading of God.

• Back to the possible Black Swan events in 2024, there are certainly a number that could be engineered by our presumed overlords under the dominion of Satan in this world.
• In no particular order, some of them are:

• Cyber-attack – internet and/or electrical grid down
  • This actually is a threat of the highest order
  • Simulations of such an event have been done on the order of Event 201 which preceded COVID and all its worldwide coordinated activities
  • This kind of situation could easily lead to further banking and retail failures
  • The “need” for a global response that results in CBDC implementation could come out of such a manufactured problem
  • It could lead to the institution of martial law to supposedly stem the violent lawlessness of the masses.
  • In that vein, the sequence of events could cause the government to “temporarily” suspend our 2^nd Amendment rights by the confiscation of all firearms – for the safety of the public, of course.
  • It’s certainly also not hard to imagine the calls for greater simplification of society by reverting to a more primitive lifestyle or fewer people
  • We must stop breathing and issuing forth CO2!
  • Of course, this would be in direct contradiction to greater digital control through universal IDs, etc.
  • But never let it be said that consistency has ever stopped dictators from their goals
• Financial contagion
  • This is the case of the proverbial butterfly in China flapping its wings and causing a tornado in Oklahoma
  • Historically, it’s quite true that sometimes the seemingly smallest bank failure halfway around the world initiates a global run on cash
  • This is another reason for the promotion and implementation of CBDCs
• Economic catastrophe
  • The world is awash in debt
  • America is at the forefront of this issue
  • Some financial experts are already saying we’re in a recession, if not an actual depression
  • At some point in the debt universe, the piper must be paid
  • Printing cash with nothing backing it will eventually only go so far
  • Is 2024 the year?
  • Are you ready for the US to become another Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Argentina, or post-WW1 German Weimar Republic where inflation is 30% – 50% or more?
  • Are you ready for needing a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread?
  • Are you ready for the day when you get paid in the morning and realize you’d better spend your entire paycheck immediately, because before the afternoon is out the dollars you received will be worth only half of what they were earlier that day?
  • That’s what happens with out-of-control inflation
  • Don’t be surprised if that happens here in America sooner rather than later
  • This is naturally a direct road to the implementation of CBDCs and the idea of a Unified Ledger in which every financial transaction by all people is keep digitally by the government

• Pandemic
  • The global elites like disease for what it can do to increase their power and wealth
  • They saw what COVID did and how the masses complied
  • Not only that, but they started the death train moving down the tracks toward the mass graves
  • They like it when lots of people die
  • Why?
  • Because they are part of a death cult no different from a terrorist organization like ISIS or Hamas
  • These are all under the dominion of Satan
  • It gives him great pleasure to harm what God loves
  • It has been predicted that the next pandemic will particularly affect children
  • Oh look! – Parents, that terrible disease is headed our way with White Lung Syndrome! – Better get those little ones vaccinated to protect them!
  • That being the case, will it be any wonder that many children will die from their beneficent ministrations?
  • Such a shame! – This pandemic is so horrible it even broke through the protection given by our very effective vaccines!
  • If you aren’t anti-vaxx yet, you should seriously consider becoming one of us who won’t let a doctor anywhere near you with a needle
• War
  • Not much needs be said for this possibility
  • With our war hawks in charge of our nation and doing everything they can think of to get us directly engaged in a shooting war, it’s only a matter of time
• Civil war
  • Given the number of military age young men who have crossed our borders over the last couple years from various hostile nations like China and various Middle Eastern countries . . .
  • Given the incredible arming up of our non-military bureaucracy in such agencies as the Small Business Administration, Department of Agriculture, HHS, and others. . .
  • And given the hostility that’s been generated between conservatives and liberals
  • Plus the targeting against conservatives. . .
  • Might there be a plan in place to initiate some kind of triggering event that leads to civil war?
  • . . . One that involves those illegal aliens being armed by our own government and encouraged to hunt down conservatives whose minds aren’t right – i.e. Domestic Violent Extremists?

• Terror attacks
  • All those young, military aged individuals may have another agenda
  • They could be unleashed by a foreign power – perhaps even in coordination with our own government
  • Don’t you even hate the thought of this idea, which unfortunately is all too valid?
  • This army of hostiles already within our borders – estimated by Leo Hohmann (see that prior article) to be as few as 5 million men and as many as 5 million men – could certainly be at the ready to attack significant infrastructure targets. . .
  • Again, such as the electrical grid, water supplies, transportation hubs, you name it
  • Or they could set off dirty bombs in major cities
  • The possibilities are endless
  • Just never forget why all this is possible
  • The elites have stated that they are behind in their efforts to bring all their plans to fruition by 2030 and they need to accelerate them
  • This year of 2024 will probably be the timeframe for those ramped-up destructive activities
• Election fraud again denying Trump the presidency – what happens then?
  • No doubt you’re all aware of the efforts to keep Trump from winning this next election just as they cheated to keep him from the Oval Office in 2020
  • Frankly, I will be very surprised if in any of their scenarios that most of them don’t end in their attempting Trump’s assassination
  • Whether they try it with him outside of prison or in prison a la Jeffrey Epstein, they will try to take him completely down
  • In the same vein, I’ll also be surprised if attempts aren’t made on RFK, Jr’s life
  • After all, the Biden Regime has now turned him down a 3^rd time for Secret Service protection
  • Gosh, I wonder why?
  • The bottom line is that with the Democrats currently in power, they simply cannot give that up
  • They will do anything – anything – to retain it
• Severe Christian persecution
  • This doesn’t necessarily fall under the rubric of a Black Swan event, although I suppose it could under some circumstances
  • If the government just up and decided to close down all churches and arrest radical Christ-followers because they won’t kowtow to government edicts, who knows how that could play out?
  • I do believe we will be subject to persecution very soon – both from the government and from within the church itself
  • The wolves are at the door and sitting in the pews

• The fact that there are so many possibilities for a doom & gloom 2024 just tells me how close the Tribulation is and with that – the Rapture of Christ’s true church.
• The denial of the pre-Tribulation Rapture within Christendom is off-the-charts.
• The vast majority within the church simply don’t believe that God will remove us as the Bride of Christ.
• They think we have something to prove and apparently that Jesus is a wife-beater.
• The mocking and scoffing of our Blessed Hope is another major sign that it is near

• Trust me when I say this: it does no good to argue with folks who believe this garbage.
• Such people – saved, born-again – simply do not understand the character of God.
• Somewhere along the line they’ve missed the fact of His love, grace, and mercy upon those who fear Him so as to obey and walk with the Lord.
• They miss that Scripture is very clear that God’s wrath comes upon the unbelieving world.
• What part do we – who are considered children of God – have with those who hate Him?
• Many believers are ignorant of God’s ancient covenant declarations with Israel, and how He will see them through.
• His promises are for those to whom He promised.
• The church is not the new Israel.
• We have our own covenant agreement with God through Christ’s sacrificial gift of His death and resurrection.
• These believers cannot see that God will bring Israel to a place of redemption and belief in His Son – Jesus – their Messiah.
• He must fulfill this promise and He will, independently of those who believe and trust in Christ today.
• So as to facilitate that, God requires today’s true believers to be absent from this world.

• In conclusion and to reiterate: my current plans are to focus on my book projects while doing only a Friday Commentary for the foreseeable future.

• I certainly may pop up at any time with a Wednesday Awaken Bible Prophecy Update if circumstances warrant.

• As always, I want to urge everyone to faithfully spend some time each day in God’s Word.
• Now is not the time to slacken in that effort.

• This year of 2024 promises to be one in which Satan is ramping up and bringing much evil to bear.
• We need to be steeped in the Word of God and walking in obedience with Christ so as to not be caught up in the world and the lusts of the flesh.

• I don’t think it will be an easy year, sorry to say.
• There will probably be many discouragements – much hardship.
• Yet, if we remain rooted in Christ, He will see us through.
• Remember all that happens is for Him to bring His pure and refined Bride home to His Father’s house – and that will happen very soon.
