There are a number of NAR end-times beliefs that have puzzled and disturbed me as I’ve come across them through comments made by those who have watched or read some of my Prophecy Updates or Commentaries. One such belief really threw me for a loop when I first saw it. Now that I’ve studied it a little more, I understand where the idea comes from, i.e. why people have it, although I steadfastly disagree with the concept.

Having dealt previously with the probable alien deception that will be used to explain away the Rapture of true believers in Jesus Christ prior to the Tribulation, i.e. the pre-Tribulation Rapture of the church, in my Prophecy Update of May 31, 2023 titled Alien Invasion, I wanted to return to this issue of aliens because they likely show up later in the 6th Bowl Judgment at a key point just prior to the final curtain call on this unbelieving world.
I think it’s problematic to only view these imprecatory psalms as powerless figures of speech. Doing so, robs them of their impact and also causes people to miss something very important. In fact, this issue affects us today, and what we anticipate happening in the near term in regards to Psalm 83.
The signs of the times are everywhere and are closing in upon us. What do the signs tell us? That the end of the age is near – very near. Despite the convergence of literally all the signs of the end, the key to the doorway to heaven still turns in the lock of the nation of Israel.
The Middle East remains a cauldron of prophetic activity as we head into the last months of this year. Israel is literally God’s prophetic clock that provides us with the milestones for determining when Christ will return. If we want to know how close we are to doomsday midnight for the end of the world, we keep our eyes on Israel.
The potential for the Rapture of the church to occur on the Jewish day of mourning known as Tisha B’Av has become a topic of much interest lately among pre-Trib Rapture adherents. After reading a couple of well-written discussions on this subject, I figured I might as well accept the challenge and weigh in since I have a different perspective.
