It makes a difference who we listen to. This is true whether one is a king or a peasant, someone living in ancient times or an individual today. If people give us suggestions, what kind of discernment do we have to understand whether what is said is actually good counsel or bad counsel?

Biblical Audio Commentary – Cancelled!
If you’ve followed any of my recent work, you may have come across my mention that I’ve been jousting with YouTube of late. With their backward-looking analysis of my efforts, YouTube determined that I earned strikes for “harassment” and “misinformation” for early 2021 posts (two years ago!) according to their Community Guidelines. So, I held my breath.
Satan’s Work – Hiding in Plain Sight
One of the pieces of advice given by the church over the years is to not focus too much on Satan so as not to give him glory. That’s good up to a point. However, what I think that counsel has done is cause us to miss the works of Satan right in front of us.
