Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 9-25-23 Bonus Commentary – FEMA October 4 Emergency Alert & More

Many of you have no doubt heard about the upcoming FEMA nationwide emergency alert test coming up on October 4, 2023, with an alternative date of October 11. Its purported purpose is to simply assure that this system continues to be a viable means by which to notify the public in the event of a significant emergency event.

Making the rounds in Alternative Media is the warning that this test isn’t as benign as stated. There are essentially two theories about this.

To the best of my recollection, I read Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis many years ago, well before I was saved. However, if in fact I did read it then, it was totally new to me this time around as I partook of it as an Audiobook. While listening, I worked at making sense of the world that Lewis painted, and finally at the end came to an understanding. I don’t know if the conclusions I came to originated where Lewis was coming from, but I did find an interesting correlation.

One of the bedrock beliefs I’ve had concerning the Rapture is that it is analogous to the Galilean wedding. After the Son’s betrothal to His Bride, He goes back to His Father’s house, prepares the bridal chamber, and then comes to get His Bride when the Father determines it is time to do so (John 14:1-3). As a result, the Rapture is an imminent event, not tied to anything earthly that someone could point to in order to predict Christ’s return.
