For about 60 years we’ve seen an increase in the degrading of the culture in Western nations; America in particular. People have consistently been moving away from the God of the Bible to seek out other gods. God is sovereign. He is in charge. So, what is going on? It appears as if God’s gone missing while all this madness envelops us.

It’s instructive to show the omniscience of the Lord in a concrete manner at times so as to remind ourselves of how truly awesome He is. God has an eternal perspective that encompasses every single potential move the enemy may even contemplate.
Many of us who watch the world through the lens of Bible prophecy may be scratching our heads wondering how to process what we anticipate may soon happen versus our understanding of what Scripture says. It appears as though something is out-of-whack.
Perhaps this article is a little self-serving, but I hope you’ll find my “coincidences” here of interest. Over the years I’ve written a number of books, first beginning my writing journey in the 1990s when I had not yet entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. During that time, one of the books I wrote was called The Tattooed Cat after visiting a small town in Wisconsin with my wife.
If we’re saved by the blood of Jesus and are assured that our eternal destinies are secure, is there any reason for us as Christians to worry? When we look at the world around us and see its spiraling descent toward the pit of hell, should we – or even more importantly – can we stop its downward progression?
