Revelation 8:13 – Threes & Woes

The Revelation Judgments really ramp up once the seventh Seal has been opened and the Trumpets are given to the seven angels who will blow them.  During the Seal Judgments, the unbelieving inhabitants of earth were subjected to what amounted to an opening salvo from God.  It’s as if the Lord has said this is only a prelude to what is coming.  He is trying to get the attention of those on this literally God-forsaken planet.  Through war, famine, persecution, physical disasters, and death, will the people realize there is a God?  Will they come to their senses and humble themselves in brokenness?  Will they cry out to Him to save them?  Some do.  Some turn to the Lord Jesus in repentance.  And in that realization that they are lost and need a Savior, many die as martyrs for their newfound faith.

But the world is a big place.  There are billions of people on the planet, despite the global extinction level genocide that has been underway by the global elites prior to the Tribulation even beginning.  And that makes an interesting question.  By this time, how many will have died as the evil cabal running the world has done all in its power to eliminate massive numbers of people through their poison vaccines as they worked toward achieving the goal of the Georgia Guidestones, i.e. a world population of 500 million?

We know they’re already succeeding to some degree.  As of this writing, the flawed VAERS database shows about 20,000 people have died from the toxic shots.  Because of the Harvard study completed in 2011 on VAERS, we know that it undercounts actual events by a factor ranging from 1% – 10%.  Thus, the actual number of deaths could be anywhere from 200,000 to 2 million in America alone.

There is a similar database in Europe.  It likewise currently shows upward of 20,000 fatalities from the “vaccines.”  We know that throughout the world, in every country administering these deadly jabs, that many have also died.  By the time the 7 Trumpet Judgments occur, who knows what the total number will be?  Is it possible they will have eliminated 1 billion people by then, reducing the world population from about 8 billion to 7 billion?  Even so, that still leaves a whole lot of people who will be affected by these terrible events.

The intriguing aspect of the first four Trumpet Judgments is the rhythmic cadence of the threes that dominate them.  Of course, God has purpose in that.  Consider the meaning noted here: https://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/3.html

The number 3 is used 467 times in the Bible. It pictures completeness, though to a lesser degree than 7. The meaning of this number derives from the fact that it is the first of four spiritually perfect numerals (the others being 7, 10 and 12).

Look at the threes that occur in Revelation 8:

Trumpet 1 (v 7):

  • 1/3 of earth burned up
  • 1/3 of trees and grass set ablaze

Trumpet 2 (v 8-9):

  • 1/3 of sea becomes blood
  • 1/3 of creatures in sea die
  • 1/3 of ships at sea destroyed

Trumpet 3 (v10-11):

  • 1/3 of rivers and springs turn bitter
  • 1/3 of all waters become poison

Trumpet 4 (v 12):

  • 1/3 of sun darkened
  • 1/3 of moon’s light hindered
  • 1/3 of light from stars reduced
  • 1/3 of daylight obstructed
  • 1/3 of light from moon inhibited

Prelude to Trumpet 5 (Revelation 8:13):

Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”

This devastation and the warning of woes yet to come signify some aspect of spiritual perfection.  It is prophetically significant as to how God will deal with this unbelieving world.

Thus far in the Judgments many have died, but the text doesn’t give a solid number.  We learned in Revelation 6:8 when the 4th Seal was opened, that Death and Hades had authority over 1/4 of the earth, but contrary to how many Bible teachers have portrayed it (myself included), this doesn’t necessarily mean that one quarter of the population was killed by these first several judgments.  It means they have power, control, or dominion over them that could have resulted in death, but not necessarily that 1/4 of mankind was eliminated.

But the woes announced indicate more and worse is yet to come.  Humanity had its opportunity, blew it, and now suffers the consequences.  Between the continued efforts of the global elites spearheaded by Antichrist, and God’s sword, wielded through natural disasters and supernatural attack, the vast majority of people will die in their sins.  Ironically, the Georgia Guidestone objective may actually be achieved, just not in the way those who planned its implementation expected.

When the Tribulation ends, the earth will be burnt and wasted.  Little of what we recognize as this beautiful world will remain intact.  Mankind will have been decimated at its conclusion, with only those alive who are saved by faith in Christ, and destined for the Millennial Kingdom.  They will still be human and will be the remnant that procreates and causes the world population to again burgeon into the billions over 1,000 years.

For those Christians thinking that we must endure this literal hell on earth, I can only say that I certainly have no desire for that.  My hope and trust is in the promise of the pre-Tribulation Rapture.  Escape?  Yes, indeed!  I pray our flight to the clouds with Jesus is soon.
