Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 8-10-22: The Compromising Church

Compromise among God’s people is not an isolated phenomenon, nor limited to either the Old Testament or the New.  We well know how the Israelites time and again turned from Yahweh to worship others gods, sometimes exclusively, and at other times syncretistically, where Yahweh was one of many deities they were happy to revere.  It was a major reason God called the Israelites a stiff-necked people.  They refused to truly trust in the God who had delivered them from slavery into freedom.  They had determined in their hearts that they needed a visible god – as this invisible One was much too hard to follow with all He demanded of them.

With the rise of the church of Jesus Christ, not much has changed.  Jesus demanded faith in people’s hearts toward Him, and their loyalty in working for the Kingdom of God.  However, between man’s sinful nature, in which he desires to elevate himself above God – since belief in Christ requires humility and surrender – and with the urging of Satan to question God’s authority and His Word, humanity has struggled to put God in His proper place in their lives.  The church has inevitably always compromised.  We see this clearly in Christ’s letter to the seven churches in Revelation.

Two periods of extreme rebellion stand out for me when considering the church today and its compromising past.  One such instance occurred during World War 2 when the Nazis ruled in Germany.  The other came on the heels of that period in Romania when the Nazis were ousted at the end of the war and the Russians occupied that country.

What can we learn from this dark period as to the church’s response to state control?

We’ll discuss that in today Awaken Bible Prophecy Update after we pray and read a Scripture.

<PRAY>

Scripture:

James 4:4-10

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, “He yearns jealously over the spirit that he has made to dwell in us”? But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

Joshua 23:12-16

12 For if you turn back and cling to the remnant of these nations remaining among you and make marriages with them, so that you associate with them and they with you, 13 know for certain that the Lord your God will no longer drive out these nations before you, but they shall be a snare and a trap for you, a whip on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from off this good ground that the Lord your God has given you.

14 “And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one word has failed of all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one of them has failed. 15 But just as all the good things that the Lord your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so the Lord will bring upon you all the evil things, until he has destroyed you from off this good land that the Lord your God has given you, 16 if you transgress the covenant of the Lord your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the Lord will be kindled against you, and you shall perish quickly from off the good land that he has given to you.”

The Compromising Church

Bonhoeffer

  • I’ve spoken often of Israel’s rebellious attitude toward God and its consequences
  • More than likely, I’ll speak of it again
  • Today, however, I want to focus on a couple disastrous compromising decisions by the church in the 20th Century, then bring that forward to today in comparison
  • For the first part of our discussion, we have to go back to 1933
  • What I’ll talk about comes from the biography titled Bonhoeffer by Eric Metaxas
  • Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a Lutheran pastor during the World War 2 era
  • At that time there was no evangelical church, per se
  • The mainstream Protestant denominations plus Catholicism comprised the church body
  • In Germany the church was in turmoil with the rise of the Nazis
  • Some in the German church believed it needed to make peace with the Nazis because they were opposed to communism and its godlessness, i.e. its atheism
  • There was a push in the church to conform to the Nazi racial laws and what was called the Fuhrer Principle
  • This Fuhrer Principle set up the Fuhrer – Adolph Hitler – as a higher and final authority in the state above God
  • One of its purposes was to wed the church to the state
  • Many church leaders thought that by adhering to this principle, it would restore prestige to the church along with elevating Germany to her former glory
  • The primary church movers and shakers behind this movement were called the “German Christians”
  • It was a group that stood boldly behind the unified Reich church because it wanted a Christianity that was strong and masculine, i.e. a “positive Christianity”
  • In taking this position the German Christians became very aggressive in attacking those who disagreed
  • As you can imagine, it caused much confusion and division in the church

  • As a result of this stand, churches became willing to adopt what was known as the Aryan Paragraph
  • The Aryan Paragraph was part of a law that announced the “Restoration of the Civil Service”
  • This so-called restoration declared that government employees must be of Aryan stock
  • Anyone with Jewish blood working in government would lose his job
  • Because the German church was already a part of government – it was a state church – this meant that all Christian pastors of Jewish descent would lose their jobs

  • In looking toward America in that timeframe, Germany observed that races being separate but supposedly equal was popular and widespread in the south
  • Thus, the German church thought this concept was okay because it was simply part of the popular culture elsewhere

  • Bonhoeffer disputed this idea by stating very boldly in a paper titled: “The Church and the Jewish Question” how the church should act toward the state
  • He made three points:
    • #1 – The church should question the state regarding its actions, and help the state be as God had ordained
    • #2 – The church should aid victims of state action because it had an unconditional obligation to those victims of the state and to help them
    • #3 – The church had an unconditional obligation to victims of ANY stated-ordered harm, even if they didn’t belong to the Christian community
      • Here, Bonhoeffer was specifically referring to Jews, even if they were not baptized, i.e. converted, as Christians

  • Bonhoeffer believed the church should directly take action against the state to stop it from perpetrating any evil in the circumstance that . . .
    • the church sees its very existence threatened by the state, and
    • when the state ceased to operate as defined by God
  • Unfortunately, the German Christians were prevailing
  • They wanted a unified church in accord with Nazi principles
  • This meant that not only was it to be a state church, but it would be led by a political bishop, i.e. a bishop who was a Nazi
  • Before long the Nazis were burning books to purge the country of any un-German books in order to bring purity of thought to the people

  • Hitler was not a Christian by any stretch of the imagination despite what many people have declared over the years
  • In reality he was an occultist and very much embraced Eastern mysticism along with most of his staff
  • Hitler thought Christianity preached meekness and flabbiness
  • Remember how he convinced the church that it needed to be strong and masculine
  • In the same manner he believed that ruthlessness and strength in the church would have been more useful to his National Socialist ideology
  • Hitler intended to change the overall church doctrine over time to this ideal
  • He planned to follow this course until the time that he could do away with churches completely
  • His approach utterly deceived the pastors
  • Hitler even called Jesus “our greatest Aryan hero” and the pastors went along with it
  • Hitler needed to wait until the time was right to destroy the church
  • But the majority of his leaders in the Third Reich were openly anti-God and hostile to the church
  • In his deception, Hitler was able to completely blind church leaders to the hostility of his administration toward the church
  • One of Hitler’s leaders wrote about the ultimate Nazi plan for the church, which included these items:
    • The National Church must cease publishing and disseminating the Bible in Germany
    • Hitler’s Mein Kompf was greater and the truest of all documents – including above the Bible
    • The National Church must remove all crucifixes, Bibles, pictures of saints, etc.
    • Altars must have only Mein Kompf on them – no Bible
    • Christian cross must be removed in all churches and replaced with the swastika
  • And the pastors went along with all this
  • In fact, to further their embrace of Christianity with National Socialism, the German Christians preached Christianity as the polar opposite of Judaism . . .
    • Jesus was portrayed as an arch anti-Semite, and
    • The cross was made a symbol of war against the Jews
  • Christianity was purged of everything Jewish
  • Obviously, the Old Testament had to go
  • To make everything work, the German Christians quoted the New Testament out of context and twisted the meaning of Scriptures to suit their anti-Semitic agenda
  • They painted Jesus as a non-Jew and a cruel anti-Semite
  • But they didn’t stop there
  • They purged church music and hymnals and changed the wording so that they referred to Germany and the glory of the homeland
  • In fact, the German Christians began moving away from Scripture altogether because . . . well, Jesus never wrote anything
  • The thinking apparently was . . . if Jesus never put pen to paper, what was the point?
  • They also changed baptism so that it became a baptism of complete entry into the community of the German people and signified the purity of Germany
  • The German Christians changed Communion . . .
    • The bread became the body of the earth of the German soil
    • The wine became the blood of the earth
    • The entire ritual was changed into an extremely pagan observance
  • And on it went . . .
  • The theology of love changed for the German Christians
  • They had to have a hard, warrior-like face
  • The church had to hate everything soft and weak
  • Thus, anything like that was considered rotten and indecent
  • It was antithetical to Nazi ideals and must be destroyed
  • The German Christians adopted the belief that the teaching of sin and grace came from Jewish attitudes and sources
  • As such, they were obviously inserted into the New Testament to deceive people
  • Teaching like that was simply too negative for the Germans
  • A major contributor of this twisting of Christianity was the fact that the German national identity and Lutheran Christianity had been melded together for 400 years since Martin Luther
    • This made it impossible for the church to see or distinguish one from the other – the state from the church
    • No one really knew any longer just what true Christianity was

  • In response to this heresy, Bonhoeffer was instrumental in crafting the Barmen Declaration that birthed the movement against all these anti-God efforts
  • This movement was known as the Confessing Church
  • It stood for Biblical principles
  • And it stood against the false doctrinal positions of the German Christians

  • Eventually, in 1944 Bonhoeffer participated in a plot to assassinate Hitler
  • His participation in that plot showed the extraordinary desperation on Bonhoeffer’s part
  • If you’re like me, you may wonder at his being part of that effort
  • Apparently he felt there was no other choice
  • Maybe it was one of those failings we all have in which we think we have to help God out
  • Regardless, he was apprehended when the plot failed
  • Aren’t there always negative consequences when we decide to take matters into our own hands instead of letting God do what He will?
  • Bonhoeffer was sent to the Buchenwald concentration camp and later to Flossenburg
  • It was there that he was executed by hanging only two weeks before the Allies liberated Germany

Wurmbrand

  • Now I want to tell you of a similar type of occurrence with a compromising church in that same time period
  • This is from the book Tortured for Christ by Richard Wurmbrand
  • Wurmbrand was also a Lutheran pastor, but in Romania
  • During World War 2 the Nazis occupied Romania
  • Because of his heart for the lost – whoever they were – Wurmbrand ministered to German troops by giving out Bibles to the soldiers at train stations
  • For his witness to these men, Wurmbrand was persecuted and beaten
  • When the Nazis were ousted from Romania, the Russians came in and occupied the country in their place
  • The Russian troops were steeped in atheism and literally brainwashed so they’d believe there was no God
  • Thus, they became Wurmbrand’s new mission field
  • The sad fact of communism was that with the Russians in power in Romania, it made life under the Nazis actually seem easy

  • Once they had become established and ruling in the country, the communists began seducing the church
  • Wurmbrand speaks of what happened as a confusion of love and seduction that was aimed at the church
  • Because of the deceit involved, pastors, priests, and ministers didn’t know how to distinguish between the two – love from seduction
  • Astonishingly, the church leaders heard the language of love from the communists when it was actually seduction to lure them into the atheist trap
  • The communists then convened a congress, or gathering, of all the Christian bodies in Romania
  • They assembled over 4000 church leaders from every denomination
  • In this huge meeting these “men of God” chose Joseph Stalin as honorary president of the congress
  • This was at the same time that Stalin – the leader of Soviet Russia – was president of an organization called the World Movement of the Godless
  • Also at this same time, Stalin was actively murdering Christians
  • In this gathering that became known as the Congress of the Cults, one after another of the bishops and pastors rose and publicly declared that communism and Christianity were fundamentally the same and could co-exist
  • They proclaimed effusive words of praise for the communist government
  • And they assured the new government of their personal loyalty and their church’s loyalty

  • Richard Wurmbrand and his wife Sabina attended this congress
  • They listened in astonishment as one church leader after another praised this church-state arrangement
  • Finally, Sabina said to her husband: “Richard, stand up and wash away this shame from the face of Christ. They are spitting in His face.”
  • Richard replied: “If I do so, you lose your husband.”
  • Sabina responded: “I don’t wish to have a coward for a husband.”

  • Wurmbrand was well-respected among his peers
  • He rose to speak and all the people thought he would also fall in line with the communist narrative
  • However, instead of praising the murderer of Christians, Wurmbrand praised Jesus Christ and declared that our first loyalty is due to Him
  • You can imagine the consternation this created
  • All these speeches at the congress were broadcast throughout the entire nation
  • People everywhere through their radios heard the church leaders bow down to the state and praise communism
  • Effectively these Orthodox and Protestant church leaders had been competing with each other in yielding to the communist propaganda
  • Then they heard Wurmbrand praise Jesus first and foremost
  • Shocked at this disloyalty toward the state, the congress officials pulled the plug on Wurmbrand’s microphone and the broadcast
  • From then on, Wurmbrand became a marked man

  • During this time many priests and pastors became officers of the secret police
  • A bishop in the Lutheran church began teaching in seminary that God gave three revelations:
    • One was through Moses
    • One was through Jesus
    • And the last, which superseded the ones before – was through Stalin
  • Church leaders began denouncing their brethren who did not join in and follow communism
  • In response, Wurmbrand and others who were still faithful to the Gospel began work in the Underground Church
  • This effort had two purposes:
    • #1 – It became a secret ministry among Russian soldiers
    • #2 – It worked with the enslaved people of Romania
  • Wurmbrand’s high profile with his public denunciation of communism and his loyalty to Christ soon resulted in his arrest
  • He ended up spending 14 years in prison under the communists – much of that time in solitary confinement – until he was finally freed and able to go into the west
  • During his time in prison when in the general population, Wurmbrand ministered to all by proclaiming the Gospel
  • He declared Christ and His supremacy to all, including political prisoners and even the guards
  • Through his efforts, Wurmbrand turned many to the Lord and ended up paying for it by being tortured by his captors

Compromising Church

  • What we see in these two examples of the past is compromising churches that had no true understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ . . .
  • Whether within the ranks of the church leaders or the congregations that followed them
  • They believed the church and the state could be one
  • They failed to place God above all things – especially the government that He had actually ordained to rule justly – which, of course, these governments did not do
  • The leaders of these compromising churches led their people away from saving grace and straight into the pit of hell

  • Why do I recount this history?
  • Because churches today are compromised and doing exactly the same thing
  • The only difference is that not only are the compromising positions coming down from the government, they have also infiltrated from the culture, and within the church itself
  • When we look back again at ancient Israel, we find fascinating orders from God to prevent this kind of contamination
  • Israel in her exodus was near Moab and King Balak feared being overrun by what he saw as the Israelite hordes
  • We know the story
  • He hired the prophet Balaam to curse Israel
  • Interestingly as a pagan prophet, Balaam knew God’s voice and heard from him
  • Balaam could do nothing other than bless Israel as God put those words or affirmation in his mouth, completely confounding King Balak
  • During that time the Israelites remained nearby the nation of Moab
  • We learn later that even though Balaam couldn’t curse Israel, he gave counsel to the Moabite king on how to undermine the Israelites
  • We see the result of this advice in Numbers 25:1-5:

While Israel lived in Shittim, the people began to whore with the daughters of Moab. These invited the people to the sacrifices of their gods, and the people ate and bowed down to their gods. So Israel yoked himself to Baal of Peor. And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel. And the Lord said to Moses, “Take all the chiefs of the people and hang them in the sun before the Lord, that the fierce anger of the Lord may turn away from Israel.” And Moses said to the judges of Israel, “Each of you kill those of his men who have yoked themselves to Baal of Peor.”

  • The one sin that God will not tolerate is for His people to worship any other gods
  • We learn this in the 1st and 2nd of the 10 Commandments in Exodus 20:3-5:

“You shall have no other gods before me.

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God . . .

  • The Israelites who transgressed against God lost their lives
  • I will also tell you that for their turning from God and placing their faith in the false gods of the Moabites, they ended up in Sheol in the compartment of torment – no differently than the Moabites themselves who had never known the mercy and blessings of God
  • The Lord is very clear
  • It is faith that saves us by God’s grace
  • This is the same faith which Abraham had that was counted to him as righteousness
  • The lack of such faith separates a person from God
  • When the Israelites yoked themselves to Baal, that was their end
  • As for the Moabites, God declared in Deuteronomy 23:3 that for their sins, they were prohibited from entering the assembly of the Lord for ten generations
  • We also see in Jeremiah 48 why:
    • Moab acted in pride
    • Moab had magnified itself above God
  • Yet in the case of Moab – I think because the nation was a descendant of Lot – that even though it would become little to nothing . . .
  • In the latter days, according to Jeremiah 48:47 – presumably during the Millennium – Moab’s fortunes will be restored
  • Yet Moab is an exception
  • During the exodus campaign of the Israelites prior to entering Israel under the direction of Moses, and subsequently in Israel under Joshua’s command . . .
  • God gave explicit orders to completely eradicate various people groups
  • What I call the big six were:
    • Hittites
    • Amorites
    • Canaanites
    • Perizzites
    • Hivites
    • Jebusites
  • God’s instructions were to devote these peoples to destruction
  • They were to be completely eradicated
  • Why would God do this?
  • Was He a moral monster?
  • No
  • In the Table of Nations in Genesis 10, we see that at least four of these people groups are descendants of Ham
  • There is interesting speculation about Ham – actually about his wife
  • Ham was one of Abraham’s three sons with their wives who was saved on the ark when God destroyed the earth through the flood
  • It’s quite apparent that God brought the flood because of the corruption of the human bloodline following the descent of the rebellious sons of God to the earth
  • They procreated with human women, and the entire population other than Noah and his family had its DNA altered with the hybrid combination of the human and divine in the Nephilim offspring
  • After the flood and the destruction of everyone but Noah’s family, we’re told in Genesis 6:4 that Nephilim were on the earth also following the flood
  • Why was Noah considered righteous by God?
  • Because his DNA wasn’t compromised
  • If God destroyed all those beings with corrupted blood in the flood, how was it that there were Nephilim after the flood?
  • One theory holds that more sons of God came down to earth and further procreated with humanity
  • That’s certainly a possibility
  • I personally believe that Hams’ wife possessed corrupted hybrid genes because it is Ham’s offspring that are numbered among what are referred to as either the Nephilim or Rephaim – i.e. the giants who inhabited the land
  • God’s instructions for devoting certain groups to destruction focused primarily on these descendants of Ham
  • Look at Joshua 10 to see how many nations living in Israel that God commanded Joshua to devote to destruction
  • God could not allow His Chosen People to have corrupted blood
  • Why?
  • Because Jesus came to save humanity – i.e. true humans who had no taint of divine DNA

  • How does this fit into our overall discussion today?
  • What is this physical corruption of blood other than compromise?
  • God will not allow either physical compromise or spiritual compromise of mankind, and particularly any spiritual compromise of any who would be His children
  • No one who desires to be a child of God can worship another god alongside Jesus
  • That’s an abomination in God’s sight, and He will not allow it
  • If someone believes and puts faith in another god besides the Lord, he cannot truly believe in the key passages we recognize as necessary for true faith, namely John 3:16, John 14:6, and Ephesians 2:8-9, among others
  • A man cannot serve two masters, whatever or whoever that other master may be
  • Churches today in large part have chosen to serve masters other than the Lord Jesus Christ

  • It doesn’t matter what master we’re discussing, whether it be the one of . . .
    • Social gospel
    • Prosperity
    • NAR
    • Black liberation
    • CRT
    • LGBT
    • Trans
    • Occult devotion that has infiltrated the church, such as . . .
      • Yoga
      • Mindfulness
      • Enneagram
      • Crystals
    • You name it – because there are many churches and practices in all these areas that simply compromise the true Word of God
  • And He will not tolerate it
  • Just think of when Paul was in Ephesus and the Seven Sons of Sceva who tried to emulate Paul in casting out demons
  • In one of the more amusing incidents in the Bible, we’re told in Acts 19:13-17:

13 Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.” 14 Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this. 15 But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?” 16 And the man in whom was the evil spirit leaped on them, mastered all of them and overpowered them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17 And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled.

  • This is exactly the situation that both leaders and the congregation of compromising churches will face when confronted by the Lord Jesus Christ
  • Just as the demons said to the Seven Sons of Sceva, “I know Paul . . . “, so will Jesus say to the people who have chosen any god but Him:
    • “I know Paul and Gary and Lisa and Charles and . . . these others who have been faithful to Me, but who are you?’
    • And these same ones will say, as we see in Matthew 7:22:

“‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’”

  • And what will be His response?
  • We see it in the next verse of Matthew 7:23:

“And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”

  • Hebrews 10:31 gives us the dreadful warning:

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

  • Compromising churches and the people whom God has chosen, yet rebelled against Him, have been around forever
  • This compromise is heretical and leads to apostasy
  • Just compare the actions of the compromising churches in Germany and Romania with those of today
  • God will not be mocked
  • If you know anyone who is in such a church, and you can still reach them, you must try to warn them
  • You must be a watchman in these final days and bring the warning that God decrees
  • There is little time left
  • Soon, God will Rapture His church and His wrath will fall upon this compromising and unbelieving world
  • Why?
  • Because God must judge
  • And because of that, many will be devoted to destruction

What an amazing teaching, Gary! Thank you for all the work you’ve invested to create it, it’s very timely.

Everywhere I look, I see compromise and error, especially where it should not be, which is within the church. The stories you’ve recounted about Luciferianism infiltrating governments, churches and society at large are sobering, and it’s taking over yet again. As the teacher said, there is nothing new under the sun and all is vanity (prideful rebellion).

When I warn women about the apostasy of Jesus Calling, or the false Aramaic translation of the Lord’s Prayer making the rounds, as just two examples, they become quite defensive. These women defend the ‘pleasure’ they derive from whatever their favorite heresy is, and claim that it brings them closer to the Lord, or in the prayer’s case, that it doesn’t matter if it is false because they still think it’s beautiful. How can apostasy be beautiful or draw you to closer to the Jesus?! It can not!

Most people don’t know what syncretism is, though they should, because the majority practice it today. Like the Days of Noah, humanity is becoming so corrupted they don’t even know they are going to Hell, and why would they?! The churches rarely teach the consequences of sin, or that we are in the Last Days. Promoting compromise and error are far more effective (profitable) at drawing in the crowds.

It’s no exaggeration to say that every day I’m grieved by what I see. We are on the fast track to becoming worse than Nazi Germany or Stalin’s Russia. Instead of it being regionalized, it will be global, and no matter what the NAR or Kingdom Now, or the RCC, or prosperity proponents claim, we are not on the edge of global revival. At least not in the way they promise.

Honestly, I don’t get how “Christians” are so easily deceived. They must not WANT to know the truth. All one has to do is spend time in the Bible regularly and the Holy Spirit will open your eyes. God promises to reveal Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart. We really ruin things when we decide He needs our help and Jesus’ work needs any supplementation.

My firm belief is that within 10-15 years, all will be made right in the physical world under a theocracy with King Jesus on the throne. He is already on the throne in the spiritual world, but the Prince of the Power of the Air is going down, literally, and an end to sin is coming soon.

    Maranatha!

Thanks, Robin. The Lord keeps putting subjects to discuss in front of me and I’m just trying to be obedient to that. I think you’re an example of how people can learn to be true to the Lord and discerning: you realized right away after you got saved that you had to be diligent in reading God’s Word, and He has tutored you, you’ve listened, and grown so much in such a short time. If only more who call themselves by His Name would engage in this same practice, there’d be a lot more wisdom and discernment in the church.

Thanks Gary, I don’t really know why I’m so hungry for the truth, I can’t even help it! It must be a gift the Lord gave me, for His purpsoes, for which I am very grateful.

Once thing I can say, I pray regularly for His wisdom, His discernment, His righteousness all for His glory. We are promised that when we pray in alignment with His will He is faithful to give us what we ask for. Maybe this all starts with prayer?!
        😉

To parrot Teal’c from Stargate SG-1: “Indeed.”
