Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 3-9-22 Can Abomination Be Redeemed?

I’m going to do this Prophecy Update a little differently than what I normally do.  The Old Testament is replete with the prophets declaring extremely hard Words from the Lord as to the difficulties that would come upon Israel as the Northern Kingdom and Judah as the Southern Kingdom.  The prophecies inevitably laid out an if-then scenario for God’s Chosen People.  If they would turn from their wicked ways, then God would heal their land.  If the people would turn from their worship of pagan gods along with their resulting sexual immorality, and if they would turn to the Holy One of Israel with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, then He would relent of the destruction He planned to bring upon their nation.

If God “hates” Israel as this video and the book of Jerimiah says then why should we support an Israel that in it’s current condition is no better than it was then?

As Jesus said to the Sadducees in Mark 12:24, “You know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.” God promised to restore Israel. This is a covenant promise. The restoration is in stages with first the reassembling of the dry bones (Ezekiel 37). The final redemption of Israel comes at the end of the Tribulation when Israel proclaims, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord”, and she acknowledges Jesus as Messiah. It was foretold all along that Israel would be the last because she was the first. It was foretold that she would fall and the Gentiles would come to know the true God before her. Remember David who would not strike the Lord’s anointed. Would you strike Israel and bring God’s wrath upon yourself? Remember that we are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Be careful – be very careful in your attitude toward Israel. God’s “hate” of Israel is His hate toward her sin, not Israel herself.

Hates…does not mean nor is it in the context that we are familiar with today. And most importantly our Lord has commanded to keep our eyes turned toward Israel and that we pray for Israel constantly during her distress….
