The wickedness throughout the world is now palpable to anyone who has an eye to see or ear to hear. Evil ones have determined that their day is at hand and will stop at nothing to achieve their goal. What is that goal? It is – just as Antichrist at the midpoint of the Tribulation will proclaim in the temple in Jerusalem – that they are god and there is no other.
The astounding thing is that those whose minds are twisted toward this objective really believe it. Deception is so great in their hearts that they can conceive of no other universe except the one in which they reign supreme. Their thoughts are so black and far from the truth of God in the heavens that through their technological wizardry they believe they can accomplish anything. Indeed, isn’t that what God said when He scattered men into nations and confused their tongues? When He saw the deceitful enterprise of the men of Babylon led by Nimrod, God had to act. In Genesis 11:4-6 we see how this developed:
Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.” And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them.”
In building that structure, they determined that they could bring God down to their level and control Him. In so doing, they would be as Him. The technological achievement of building that ziggurat was prominent in their thinking because it presumably made them equivalent with God.
We see this same thinking in Psalm 73:4-9 where the psalmist decries the success and apparent invincibility of the wicked:
For they have no pangs until death;
their bodies are fat and sleek.
They are not in trouble as others are;
they are not stricken like the rest of mankind.
Therefore pride is their necklace;
violence covers them as a garment.
Their eyes swell out through fatness;
their hearts overflow with follies.
They scoff and speak with malice;
loftily they threaten oppression.
They set their mouths against the heavens,
and their tongue struts through the earth.
Their arrogance knows no bounds. Nothing is impossible for them. They speak against the Almighty with impudence, believing in their hearts that nothing can contain what they plan to do.
This attitude is at the heart of the transhumanist agenda that is growing daily. Its momentum is gathering, and the evil ones who rule and reign behind the scenes of the earth are cackling with glee. They have been conditioning the world to believe what they do and their efforts are coming closer to fruition. Psalm 74:7-8 describes one aspect of this:
They set your sanctuary on fire;
they profaned the dwelling place of your name,
bringing it down to the ground.
They said to themselves, “We will utterly subdue them”;
they burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
These enemies of God have eradicated Him in the public square and have been coming after the churches. By eliminating God in the minds and hearts of the people, they pave the way for the fulfillment of their plans.
What are those plans? Transhumanism is only the beginning. What transhumanism does is to replace pieces and parts of the human body with machine. It’s a glorified version of the $6 Million Dollar Man where they build bigger, stronger, and faster. Only in this case, they incorporate not only the body, but the mind. Developments are in process to link and then merge the mind with computers to achieve a close integration with artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR). This technological effort also requires genetic modification to enhance the body’s ability to merge in this manner.
It doesn’t stop there. The next step is posthumanism. What humans have known forever is that the body is a weak link in achieving immortality. It decays, breaks down, grows old, and dies. When that happens, the consciousness of a person seemingly evaporates. Posthumanists wish to change that.
If the body is the stumbling block, then the body must be done away with. If consciousness simply disappears after death, then it must be captured prior to that point. If transhumanism is the means to merge man and machine to make a better human, posthumanism is the effort to transcend the limitations of the body and to catapult consciousness into a blended ethereal reality that incorporates mind and machine in the internet cloud. This network consciousness brings together all of like mind into a utopian existence that is immortal. Don’t believe me? The problem facing those who desire such a future has been how to get there more quickly. How could they accelerate the momentum and fuel the research necessary to reach this goal?
Enter COVID-19 and the so-called vaccines. It has been clear for some time that the “pandemic” and the biotechnological response in creating the mRNA vaccines has an evil agenda behind them. The shots are filled with foreign and poisonous substances that are causing serious adverse reactions and death. This is purposeful for two reasons: 1) The evil ones behind this plan need to eliminate a significant portion of the earth’s population in order to be able to control those who are left; 2) By demonstrating the frailty of the human body and how it is subject to such awful affliction, many people will be convinced of the need to adopt the trans- and post- humanist agendas.
If a large segment of the population that hasn’t yet been killed by these poisonous injections are given the hope that they can transcend the diseases and pains of the human body, don’t you think they will gravitate toward that solution? They will grab onto anything to extend and enhance life. As they do, they will play right into Satan’s hands to separate them further from God and to bring them down to the pit alongside him.
Is it any wonder the psalmist pleads with God in Psalm 74:10-11 for Him to act?
How long, O God, is the foe to scoff?
Is the enemy to revile your name forever?
Why do you hold back your hand, your right hand?
Take it from the fold of your garment and destroy them!
Anticipating that point in which God gives the enemy enough rope to hang himself can be an almost despairing wait. We lift up our voices to the heavens in same way as Psalm 74:22-23 does:
Arise, O God, defend your cause;
remember how the foolish scoff at you all the day!
Do not forget the clamor of your foes,
the uproar of those who rise against you, which goes up continually!
Thankfully, we have the Book and we know the end of the story. When Jesus returns, all the plans of men will be revealed in their utter futility. Revelation 22:3-5 assures us:
No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
Those who are engaged in this accursed behavior will perish. We have God’s Word that this is so. While we wait, let us watch expectantly. Jesus will soon return. Our sure hope will turn to the reality of fulfillment. The One whose Word is true gives us this confidence!
