There have always been those who did not believe in the God of all creation. They have turned from Him in their willfulness or ignorance and followed other gods. These gods are indeed real; they are spiritual beings in rebellion to their Father who created them. In the grand scheme of things, Satan has risen to the top of the heap of these rebellious beings, and so he is the one we point toward as the prince of the power of the air. However, make no mistake, Satan does not work alone; he’s got many who toil beside and under him in their efforts to displace the One true God.

When Jesus spoke to His disciples, He referred to those many on the earth who would reject Him. Knowing there are rebels in the spiritual realm, Jesus’ Words could certainly apply to them as well. Speaking of those who have life and those who are dead, Jesus in John 5:23 said:
“Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.”
How true that is in the world! The Name of Jesus is constantly disparaged. It is used as a curse word rather than the Name above all names. Given that Jesus is despised by so many, the truth, as He said, is that His Father – God Almighty – isn’t honored by the foolish ones who reject Him.
Jesus made it clear in John 5:36 that God sent Him for very specific purposes:
“For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me.”
The miracles that Jesus did were a testimony to both Himself and the Father. No one could do such signs and wonders unless they were of God. Jesus’ purpose was to glorify the Father and uphold His holy Name.
Yet, the doubters, scoffers, and deniers are and have been rampant. The reason? He said in John 5:38 exactly why:
“… you do not have his word abiding in you, for you do not believe the one whom he has sent.”
They simply refuse to believe in Him, thus they haven’t accepted the Word of God.
Then, whose word have they believed? If they don’t believe what God says, they obviously believe whatever their father – the father of lies – says. This has led over the years to a counter-faith to Christianity.
Call it what you will, at its root is satanism. The way it’s manifested throughout society is with an extremely large number of people who follow Freemasonry. This cult – this belief system – has flourished in plain sight. It attracts some through a veneer of good works and seemingly Christian values. However, those are simply surface attributes. The cult – the secret society – of Freemasons has grown significantly because it’s through satanic workings and beliefs that the globalist elites have come into and retain power.
If you think about Christianity and its exponential growth throughout the world – both visibly and underground in persecuted nations – and if you consider that, as Jesus said, following Him requires walking a narrow path through a straight gate, what about everyone else? Don’t you think that Satan – being the master counterfeiter and deceiver that he is – wouldn’t likewise raise up a religion that opposes Christianity and encompasses vast majorities of people? In that, why wouldn’t he make it very attractive? Why wouldn’t he promise the world to those who hunger for fame, fortune, and more? And, then give it to them if they work faithfully on his behalf?
Why not, indeed. This is exactly what Satan and the highly placed spiritual beings in the world have done. The globalist elites didn’t get into their exalted positions hating God – which they constantly declare – without significant help. By literally selling their souls to the devil, these people have risen from the masses to where they are so visible in the world and so visibly distaining of Jesus
The thing of it is, they also make themselves known to each other through various symbols. They flash certain hand signs and take up specific poses that signal their allegiance to Freemasonry and thus to Satan. Don’t believe it? They make it plain for everyone to see; you just haven’t looked, and you surely don’t comprehend how pervasive the influence of Satan is in the world. Again, Jesus said it in Matthew 7;13-14:
“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
If few enter by the gate that is Jesus Himself, this means that many travel a broad road to destruction. Not only that, but they are led by the nose by Satan and his minions who desire nothing more than to destroy God’s creation and His purposes for it.
It all boils down to this as Jesus said in John 5:42:
But I know that you do not have the love of God within you.
These God-haters love themselves and what the world gives them when they follow that which Satan promises.
This is a warning. Watch out. Open your eyes. There are many wolves in sheep’s clothing. They do the business of their father. That work is to steal, kill, and destroy. Don’t allow them to undermine the truth of your faith in Christ Jesus alone.
