Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 7-13-22: Thinking Outside My Own Box

In a recent Awaken Bible Prophecy Update titled Making Sense of “Days of Noah” Prophecy, I discussed the conundrum we seem to have regarding the last days as Jesus spoke of them in Matthew 24, in contrast to what we see is occurring now and might also happen. Jesus seemed to indicate there would be a normality to these days. What we’re experiencing appears to be quite the opposite because of the darkness that’s closing in.

What if I was wrong in my speculations in that Prophecy Update? And what if the people who say we’re going to reawaken America with things getting better are right – to a degree? Is this possible? If so, how could it align with Bible prophecy as we know it that indicates the world is on a downhill trajectory with no return?

Going down this road, I decided to think a little bit out of the box, i.e. my own box, to see where that might take me. If you’ve listened to me previously or read some of my articles, you know I’ll go down these rabbit trails at times to see where they lead. I tend to be a contrarian. If the masses are heading one way, I may head another. It goes to the old question our mothers would often ask some of us: “Just because everybody else is jumping off the cliff, does that mean you should, too?” Maybe in my teenage superiority, I learned something from my mom after all.

Here I’m possibly contradicting what I previously said, of course. Poor Gary. He’s become schizophrenic in his old age.

Also, as I’ve stated in the past, I don’t believe that a single one of us who teaches Bible prophecy will be 100% correct. That’s a not a bad reason for developing multiple views of Biblical events that God hasn’t spelled out definitively as to how they’ll play out. God has ways of doing things that we in our flesh simply don’t see, with His outcome getting there in some manner that we never considered. So, today we’ll reconsider the Days of Noah Prophecy from a different perspective.

Given that introduction, let’s pray, look at a Scripture and see what we’ve got in this matter.

Scripture

Hebrews 12:5-7,11

And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons?

“My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord,
nor be weary when reproved by him.
For the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and chastises every son whom he receives.”

It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

Thinking Outside My Own Box

Let’s first set the stage for this
I’ve said this repeatedly, but I believe September will see many dark and ominous events occur
We in America might have a Cyber-Polygon style attack – probably a false flag – that could disrupt our internet access for a couple weeks leading to greater supply chain shortages, not to mention our inability to communicate
It’s possible another engineered virus plague may be released that could at least have the appearance of so much deadly harm such that many people will want to take the vaccine for it
In some manner there could be enough hatred ginned up among the American people with real assaults, false flags, and even a gun confiscation event that the Biden Regime ends up declaring martial law, because elections will be too dangerous with all the projected violence
Given the dissatisfaction of the American people – even by many Democrats – the elites see the handwriting on the wall that the Republicans will win Congressional seats in droves
The globalists cannot allow this given all they’ve invested in creating worldwide chaos
America must be taken out, and retaining the Democrat majority is the only way for that to continue
I could even see some sort of engineered climate emergency that supposedly forces the government to crack down on its citizens so as to keep us all “safe,” e.g. we all must remain inside, not use our cars, and hunker down to halt the excessive CO2 we’re all emitting. They’ve certainly practiced this kind of obedience with the COVID plandemic scare
Whatever happens this fall, it will appear very ominous in my estimation
However, what if . . . (remember, among other things I’m a fiction author so I have to do a lot of what-if considerations for a novel) . . . what if in some shape, manner, or form we do have elections?
What if . . . in spite of the concerted attempt by the Left to stop the November elections altogether, or to double down on what they did in the 2020 elections through extensive cheating using fake ballots and vote manipulation by Dominion voting machines . . .
What if . . . the Red Wave of voting somehow – miraculously – achieves victory for the Republicans in both the House and Senate?
And, through this completely impossible and unexpected result, the Left, along with the Biden-globalist agenda, seems to be thwarted?
In other words, the Left is put back on its heels and are on the run
Given my dire prognosis for this Fall, is this even a possibility?
Well, let’s for fun say that it is
What have we got under this scenario?

Let’s step back even further from this possibility to see why it could even happen

Many of you know that I’ve followed Pastor Dana Coverstone’s dreams since they began over two years ago
Dana has always said he’s not a prophet – doesn’t want to be one – but he’s had these dreams he believes are from God
In recounting them, his position has always been that you can believe they’re from God or not
He’s simply being faithful to Him to make them public
Some of you have commented to me that you don’t think the dreams are from God – and that’s fine
I’m simply giving them to you in the context I see them fitting into various subjects I cover, and you can take them or leave them, or even have a different application of them than I do
With that said, Pastor Dana had a dream that he posted on March 15, 2022 that he called The Shutting Down the Machines Dream
Pastor Dana’s dreams are watchman-like in their warnings to the church and the world
In that sense, I guess I can categorize this dream that way, but in another sense it’s quite different than Dana’s other dreams
Remember: all dreams are – if not wholly symbolic – largely that way
A lot of people want to take everything in these dreams verbatim – even if they seem like a potential event in the natural world
I think we have to be very cautious in this regard because of how symbolic dreams usually are
There may be actual events that mirror those in the dreams, but much of what is shown is probably given as an analogy of sorts
Most of Dana’s dreams portend great darkness and convey difficult things to come
That resonates with me because God has always warned His people ahead of time about disaster looming on the horizon
This Machine dream has that warning also as an undercurrent, but actually seems to convey something good happening
Let me give you a recap:
The scene in the dream takes place in a building where there is a very large, heavy-duty machine with a wheel that is spinning furiously and spewing thick black smoke all over America
We see a lone person with an axe come and strike the machine at its base, and then another lone person similarly hitting it with his axe
Both of these solitary people are thrown back and hurt from their effort
In Dana’s dreams there is a Jesus figure who typically appears – usually only once – to say something relevant
In this case He makes several appearances
The first time the Jesus figure appears is quite near the beginning of the dream
He says:
- “You have to work together as I have told you before, and you need more people to attack what is producing the darkness.”
Next, we see small fires starting up throughout the country, but primarily in the Midwest
These fires burn through the dark smoke – they push back against it and dissipate the smoke
Then many people with axes come into the building and surround the machine
They all approach it with their axes raised
All at once, everyone cries out in unison with a mighty shout: “NOW!”
At the same time the Jesus figure stands nearby and He mouths that same word – NOW! – just as the people gathered do
As one the people storm the machine and strike at its base with their axes buried deep
The machine stops spinning although it tries to continue moving
But it can’t because of so many axes buried at its root with the people holding on and restraining it
As this is happening everything is shaking
The people remain in place holding the machine back from spinning and it causes them to be strained and bloody from the effort
At that point, all the people shout Psalm 144:1 together:

Blessed be the Lord, my rock,
who trains my hands for war,
and my fingers for battle;

Finally, the machine stops and the people stream outside led by the Jesus figure
He points to a distant city lit up by lights and says:
- “You won’t stop all the evil, but together you can take down more of it. Focused prayer and unity in America is more important now than ever before. It’s up to you, so find the motivation and strike at the root together. Remember that evil will fight back, but I am with you and in you and greater in you than you know.”
Then the Jesus figure points toward the city in the distance and says:
- “Strike together and aim for the root.”
Needless to say, since there is a stopping of the evil process, that’s seemingly different than most of Dana’s other dreams
It is obviously meant for the church and is an exhortation toward prayer and unity
The message is clear that alone in fighting evil, we are powerless, but when the church unites in prayer, recognizing the spiritual battle at hand, it can halt the progression of wickedness
What else might be a several takeaways?
I think the machine is the satanic Deep State that keeps churning away and causing such darkness over the land
After all, this is a spiritual battle more than anything
In some way, shape, or form – perhaps arising from the Midwest – spiritual fires of faith arise and bring light against the darkness
Because of that there is a uniting with a common purpose whose intent is to strike against the globalist cabal operating in America
Is this a certainty?
Well, there’s the question and the rub
When Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams about the 7-years of plenty and the 7-years of famine, he said that because God gave these two instances of the same event in the dreams, they were indeed certain
We see something similar in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the four world kingdoms and the second instance of that with a beast dream that Daniel had
God had ordained this future, and it was set without fail because of the doubling of the vision
That doesn’t happen here, nor am I aware of another Dana dream that seems to refer to this same stopping of the Deep State machine
This could mean that only if the church acts and prays in unity, will it come about
The Jesus figure indicates He has previously given this admonition when He says: “as I have told you before”
I know there have been prior admonitions in previous Dana dreams by the Jesus figure for the church to do what it’s supposed to do
The man goes on to say we have to do this “together” and “It’s up to you”
That tells me we as the people of God have a choice
This is perhaps reminiscent of the if-then conditions God often presents to His people
If they will do such and such . . .
Then God will bring a good outcome
If His people neglect to do what God commands . . .
Then He will allow an evil outcome to prevail
Moses sets this principle out for us in Deuteronomy 28 with the potential blessings and curses that will come upon Israel depending on what they do in response to God’s urging
In this case with Dana’s dream, if the church doesn’t do this, it may be that this pushback won’t occur
The Words of the Jesus figure give us the hope of this concerted effort, but by no means give the outcome as an absolute

I want to mention one other thing before I try to tie things together
I just finished reading a terrific fiction trilogy under the series title of City of God written by Randy Ingermanson
In this story, the main characters go through a wormhole and time travel to ancient Israel – to Jerusalem in 57 AD
The main female protagonist – Rivka – is a Messianic Jew
The main male protagonist – Ari – is a lapsed Jew
The bad guy in the story – Damian – has gone back in time to assassinate the Apostle Paul
Rivka has an eidetic memory, i.e. a photographic memory
She has read the history of Israel written by Josephus, along with the Bible, and can recall every detail
This gets her into trouble – a lot – and it also gets her a reputation as a seer woman
Rivka believes God has given her the task of stopping Damien so that he doesn’t alter history and destroy the entire future of Christianity that hinged so much on Paul’s evangelistic missionary work
Because of the research the author has done, he paints an amazing picture in his setting of Jerusalem in that time period and how the people lived – it’s very compelling
I’ll just tell you that I LOVED this book and the subsequent two novels in the series
They just keep getting better from beginning to end
I highly recommend the books

I bring this up because the question comes up at times in the course of the story whether Rivka is seeing clearly or darkly
In other words, does she have a definitive Word from God?
Or does she simply know generally about events that might take place?
Of course, she knows many historical events because of what Josephus recorded, and she can in some ways “foretell” the future
We can relate this ability to see what is to come with mirrors back in those times versus mirrors today
Back then they used polished brass to see a poor reflection of themselves
In such a mirror, they would see darkly
In contrast with our mirrors today, we see our image very clearly
This is the meaning of the question as to whether Rivka was seeing clearly or darkly

It relates to how we see and interpret Bible prophecy
We know how the book ends
We who believe in the inerrancy of the Word of God as set forth in the Bible – and we who interpret Scripture literally where it’s meant to be seen that way – know that certain events will happen
What we don’t know is how God will orchestrate them along the way so that they do happen
The end is assured but the journey getting there is generally hidden from us
The best we can do is interpret Scripture with Scripture, doing proper eisegesis, consider God’s Word in relation to what’s going on in the world, and try to lay out a logical course for things to play out
In our flawed, human condition, just like Rivka knew from Josephus what historical events would take place, we have no true idea how they actually will occur to fulfill history or Scripture
We see through a glass darkly
That’s where we are with Dana’s dreams, our reading of Bible prophecy, and our determining what might happen as we look around us trying to make it all fit together

In our particular case, the questions being asked are:
- Should we reconsider how we’ve connected the dots?
- When I posed the issue of Making Sense of the Days of Noah Prophecy,” in the prior Prophecy Update, was I largely correct?
- Or, given this interesting dream from Pastor Dana, might there be a different means of reaching the same endpoint than I previously thought?
- In Thinking Outside My Own Box, do I see another path that seems highly improbable, yet could occur?
- The answer is yes
The reason I dealt with the Days of Noah Prophecy was because of how Jesus indicated that life would apparently be normal when the Rapture occurs
That’s hard to reckon with as we see the gathering darkness and the potential persecution of Christians
Where’s the normality in that?

For today, let’s consider something different
As I said several minutes ago, what if the Republicans win crazy big this Fall?
They take back Congress with astounding victories in the House and Senate against all odds
We know that this would put a serious crimp in the globalist plans to have everything in place by 2030
It’s one of the reasons that I believe the Deep State cannot and will not surrender their hard-fought gains and control of the levers of power in our nation
Something crazy will have to happen for a Republican victory
Note, I don’t even say a conservative victory
Most Republicans are as compromised as the Democrats
It’s just that the Dems are more open about their allegiances
Back in Rush Limbaugh’s day – and boy, do I miss Rush! – there were people who would call him up and say: “We have to just let the Democrats win because then everybody will see how bad they are and never vote for them again.”
. . . No.
There are more and more people who LIKE what the Democrats stand for, i.e. socialism/communism, because they’ve been indoctrinated – brainwashed – in public schools to believe this is better than capitalism
So the RINO Republicans, of which there are many, have the same underlying values as their friends across the aisle
BTW – I wish I could describe all this by eliminating the labels as Pastor JD Farag has urged, i.e. there are only two types of people: saved and lost
Unfortunately, in order to be clear in my explanation I have to use the labels that I do so as to make things clear
So, here we are . . .
Let’s suppose in our fantasy that we’re setting up that Republicans win in November and the people on the Right have great joy in Mudville on that election eve
With this Red Tide, it changes everything – right?
Well, maybe just to pacify conservatives in the election’s aftermath, the Republican’s mouth the words we all want hear and nothing more of the Biden Agenda can supposedly pass Congress for a time
The new members of Congress write conservative bills and send them up to the White House
Of course, Biden vetoes them, but our people show they’re fighting for us
Hope arises for 2024 that Trump will run again and demolish the competition
Yet here’s the problem as a friend of mine, Robin, outlined in a recent email to me:
- I still have friends, who are saved Believers, who are hoping against hope that our nation gets turned around and things will go back to ‘normal’. They send me articles and video clips from total whack jobs who say Trump has already been re-sworn in as POTUS, blah blah blah. It is lunacy and when they send these things to me all I can do is shake my head. Seriously, do they, or anyone, understand just how much would have to be undone to stop the progression of all the events that are underway?! Respectfully, I don’t think they do. This isn’t about getting a different POTUS; it’s about getting an entirely different world! What is happening is global and it would be like fighting air to change it, good luck with that. It is everywhere, in everything…there’s more than one reason God says Satan is the Prince of the Power of the Air.
Exactly right
The Deep State is so deep and pervasive, most people have no idea what it would really take to disinfect from it
This is an absolutely spiritual battle, no matter what it looks like in the natural
This is the ultimate problem
Most of the fighting against this spiritual darkness is being done in the flesh
Yes, there are some good Christians who are praying, but the majority of people fighting this fight are doing so in the natural
However, no political victories are going to change the course of this world
Only a complete and clean sweep by the Lord will make things right again
Despite this, in our pretend world of a revised Congress and hope on the Right for the future, what does that give us?
It provides us a re-established sense of normality
All of a sudden, we line up with Jesus’ prophecy about these final days
Nevertheless, don’t think for a moment that winning several seats in Congress will alter the tide of human depravity and the depth of the Deep State as my friend Robin pointed out
The depravity could go a little underground
Or, more likely, the Left will rise up in greater demonic rage
Despite that, perhaps we as a nation go back to eating, drinking, marrying, building, buying, etc. – as though life has been restored, and we’re back on the right track
Any thought that people might have had that God’s judgment was at hand will quickly disappear
This is a serious problem
We have very short memories, just as the Israelites did
Remember 9/11 and how so many people flocked to churches in the aftermath?
How long did that persist?
Do you think that following a Red Pill victory this November that any turning to the Lord that had been happening in our nation will continue?
If I was a betting man, I’d certainly wager against that possibility
So, the church settles back into its apathy and those of us watching for Jesus get even more excited
Why?
Because we will be at the very place where Jesus said the Rapture will occur
Nobody will be expecting Jesus to come other than us crazy pre-Tribbers
Heck, in this imaginary world with its sudden outcome, the days could even seem like they’re getting closer to the hope-for Great Awakening
Can’t you just hear the NAR prophets and apostles proclaiming how close we are to their utopian dream?
Similarly, the pagan New Agers might be declaring the same thing
And there we are again, those two groups coming together as one
Of course, there’s no problem with that – right?

When I think outside my box and connect the dots differently, such an outcome might be possible
God would have to allow it and in so doing further shake out the unbelievers – the apostates, the wolves – in the church
This outcome would sift out those who truly prefer living for the world
A victory in this case would allow many people to cheer for the re-establishment of our nation and enable them to dig deeper into this world, and put God aside once more
Maybe this scenario would then set the stage for the fullness of the Gentiles
Rather than a violent shaking, God mercifully provides a gentle nudge
But it’s that delicate touch that finalizes who comes to Him in the clouds when He calls, and those who don’t

None of us see the future clearly
As Rivka in the City of God books learns, knowing the details of what is coming isn’t always a blessing
God has told us the big picture of what’s to come, but how we arrive is a mystery
Perhaps that’s for the best
If we actually knew how we were getting from point A to point B, our hearts might fail us
But God has told us not to worry or fear
He has promised to be with us in the midst of whatever we face
We can speculate until cows turn blue – and I’m right there on the cutting edge of that – but in the end God is the only One who knows
For our part, we must remember His promise: “I will never leave you nor forsake you”
He also said, “I am coming soon”
So, however these next months and maybe, year or two play out, our job is to remain faithful, hopeful, and obedient
If we do that, and worship Him in the good times along with the bad, we can be assured that He’s holding us in His hands
He will not fail us – because He is God – and there is no other
