Awaken Bible Prophecy Update 6-29-22: Making Sense of “Days of Noah” Prophecy

Many of us who watch the world through the lens of Bible prophecy may be scratching our heads wondering how to process what we anticipate may soon happen versus our understanding of what Scripture says.  It appears as though something is out-of-whack.  On one hand we have Jesus declaring in the “Days of Noah” prophecy that everything in the world seems to be operating normally.  On the other hand, Jesus also said that because the world hates Him, it will hate us.  The result of that is, as Paul wrote to Timothy:

Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. (2 Timothy 3:12)

This certainly seems to imply that although we in America have had unprecedented peace and protection from persecution, we may have it yet.  In fact, given various legitimate, predictive dreams that correlate with the dire straits we’re currently facing from the hostile activities of our own government, it almost seems assured that we’ll face tribulations and suffering before the pre-Tribulation Rapture delivers us from this hostile and alien place.  Add to that the warnings in Romans 1 and 2 Timothy 3 of what the hearts of pagans all around us in the world will manifest in the last days, and it’s a very threatening picture.

Then we have Paul in 2 Thessalonians 5 indicating that many will be saying peace and security are just around the corner when sudden disaster hits, and we’ve got this apparently contradictory situation.

As a result of thinking about these things, I have some ideas.  What I conclude may or may not ultimately be correct, but it will hopefully give you something to chew on, as presumably, we all try to make sense of what we’re experiencing in light of Scripture.

As a result of thinking about these things, I have some ideas.  What I conclude may or may not ultimately be correct, but it will hopefully give you something to chew on, as presumably, we all try to make sense of what we’re experiencing in light of Scripture.

We’ll get to this in moment.  First we’ll pray, read a Bible passage, and try to reason through this conundrum.

<PRAY>

Scripture:

Matthew 16:1-4

And the Pharisees and Sadducees came, and to test him they asked him to show them a sign from heaven. He answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times. An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So he left them and departed.

Making Sense of “Days of Noah” Prophecy

  • This started bothering me several weeks ago
  • I’ve noted in these videos that I believe Pastor Dana Coverstone’s dreams to be from God
  • There are those who contest that, and they are welcome to their opinion
  • However, Pastor Dana’s dreams are highly symbolic at times, just as accounts of Biblical dreams are
  • Sometimes – in the absence of true divine guidance for interpretation such as Daniel and Joseph had – we may come to an incorrect understanding of dreams
  • In this arena of dream interpretation many of us may impose our own biases and thus miss the truth that God is delivering
  • Let’s face it: unless we are divinely given what God wishes to convey, there’s a good chance we’ll blow it because we’re often seeing in the flesh rather than through the Spirit
  • Obviously, that applies to me as much as anyone
  • That said, when we view Pastor Dana’s dreams in light of the darkening world and where it is going in its descent into destruction, most of us should be able to see that what is prophetically implied in the symbolic dreams appears to be happening in the real world
  • I gave an example of that in the last couple weeks by noting Pastor Dana’s Lady Liberty Attacked dream
  • It showed the stormy waters in New York harbor with the Statue of Liberty being attacked
  • Despite attempting to resist and doing all that she could to continue standing, those who desired her destruction successfully pulled her off her pedestal into the roiling waves
  • She was tossed and buffeted and mercilessly dragged through the water until she submerged and drowned
  • Ultimately, she surfaced and lay face down in death as her attackers sped off

  • This dream was two years ago
  • I hope you can see what is happening with America and where it is headed, i.e. exactly what this dream shows
  • There have been many other dreams by Pastor Dana giving similar pictures of the demise of our nation – all the while encouraging believers to stand firm by bracing ourselves for what is coming
  • That’s really important BTW
  • For whatever comes next, we’d truly better be rooted and braced in the Word of God
  • If all this doesn’t resonate with you as to being an accurate portrayal – I don’t know what to say
  • The point of this is that increasing darkness and lawlessness are overtaking this nation
  • Believers are in the midst of this
  • Yet we’re split as to how we’re responding
  • There is one cohort that believes through their efforts America will fight back and regain its standing along with the moral high ground
  • The end game for this group is a Great Awakening
  • Dangerously, in my estimation, this also correlates with the pagan New Age thinking that there will be a Great Awakening
  • Should holy people of God and the anti-God world be on the same page with something as important as this?
  • Just asking
  • Another contingent – of which I’m a part – wholeheartedly believe that our nation is on its last legs and there is no going back
  • From our perspective. the next move in this giant chess game is for God to Rapture His true church and to bring on the Tribulation
  • In one sense this quandary of seemingly conflicting prophecies that we’re discussing today ties into this situation

  • The questions become: What will happen next? Will the Rapture take us out before persecution?

  • See, here’s the problem:
  • We read what Jesus said and think, “Gosh, we have to be Raptured really soon – like now! – otherwise Jesus wasn’t correct. And that CAN’T be!  So what is it?”
  • Let’s look at Matthew 24:37-41:

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

  • We also have the parallel passage in Luke 17:26-27:

26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.

  • In both of these we see that people were going about their lives in a seemingly normal manner
  • Thus, the prophecy indicates that people will be conducting business as usual, so to speak
  • Yet, we look around and see everything deteriorating
  • How much normality do we really have now and how much less will we have in the very near term?
  • If things get any worse for us, we would seem to be in a contradictory environment as to the prophecy – right?
  • Like I said earlier, I have two ideas regarding this
  • Neither of them may be correct – so if any of you come up with something better, by all means let me know
  • Here are my two thoughts which have to do with the identification of the people in these verses:
    • #1 – Perhaps rather than humans, the reference to people is actually to the sons of God who came to earth in Genesis 6 and took on human form
      • What if it’s these fallen, rebellious beings that are actually in view here?
      • Now, I know, that’s pretty far out, but I’ll give you some possible reasoning for it
      • I tend to think this is not who Jesus is speaking about, but why not put all things on the table?
    • #2 – This I think is a pretty good potential for solving our riddle
      • What if the people noted are not your everyday citizens like you and me?
      • What if those Jesus is referencing are the elites in society?
      • For this to work, we have to ask whether such people are subject to the rules and regulations everyone else is, or whether they get a pass because they’re the ones who make the rules

  • First of all, let’s understand this issue of people as the prophecy denotes
  • When we look at the Greek verses in various Bible translations, there’s an interesting absence
  • Rather than use the word “people”, the Greek uses a combination of the description “they” with a verb
  • It goes like this:
    • They were . . . eating
    • They were . . . drinking
    • They were . . . marrying and giving in marriage
  • Don’t take my word for, check it out
  • The Greek doesn’t use the word “people” – it uses the word “they” and a verb – so we don’t really know who “they” are
  • Maybe they’re actual 100% people of one sort or another; maybe they aren’t
  • “They” could refer to any kind of being – even a fallen son of God, a.k.a. a rebellious angel
  • Thus . . . my highly speculative conjecture that we’re not speaking of natural flesh and blood humans as we know them

  • So, let’s take a moment for Idea #1:
  • Here is Genesis 6:1-9,13 as a basis for discussion:

When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

This is the account of Noah and his family.

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.

  • Here’s what we’ve got:
  • The sons of God referenced in the passage are part of God’s heavenly host – the bene Elohim – known as Watchers in the book of Daniel
  • But these are the ones who rebelled against the Lord because of their lust for human women and desire to replace God Himself
  • Notice that in Genesis 6:2 “they” took wives
  • “They” in this case – in the Hebrew – refers to these divine beings
  • Again the pronoun “they” is coupled with the verb “took”
  • What happened though this revolt?
  • Nephilim, i.e. giants, who were half human and half divine, were born
  • However the corruption spread, as the divine sons and the Nephilim procreated, everyone on the entire earth became evil at heart
  • Moreover, the probability that all DNA of all humanity was changed and corrupted is high
  • Because of this corruption of mankind’s very bloodline, we could likely accurately say that no one left on the earth was human – except for Noah as Genesis 6:9 tells us:

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people

  • Yet, what does Genesis 6:7 tells us?

So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created

  • Even though nobody was technically human, God still refers to the people as the human race
  • Additionally, Genesis 6:13 says:

So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people

  • Given this background, when I say that Jesus in Idea #1 could have been talking about the sons of God – the members of the heavenly host who came to earth and took human form so that they could procreate, hopefully you can see that this is a possibility
  • Granted, I think it’s a low probability idea – but still possible
  • Those who were part of this divine and partly divine contingent on the earth could have been doing their thing – happy go lucky, as it were – and engaging in every sort of activity in a very depraved sort of way that they had done from the very beginning of their descent to this planet

  • If we go to Idea #2, we have little different scenario
  • The thought is that we on the earth are being separated into the elites and the drones, i.e. the common people who have no say as to what the world is supposed to look like
  • The elites have chosen themselves to run the planet, and they have no need for anyone else’s input
  • Because they are the crème-de-la-crème and above all reproach by anyone not in their class of rulers, they can do what they want
  • While they impose restrictions, lockdowns, mandates, food shortages, vehicle obligations, and living constraints for the rest of us, they live it up because they’ve determined that they can
  • The question thus becomes: Are the people that Jesus spoke of – the “they” according to His Words – actually these elitist types who carry on without a care in the world?
  • There is nothing that keeps them from eating, drinking, marrying, buying, building, or anything else
  • They are above the little man – that’s you and me – and their lives are unchanged from the various impositions enacted upon the rest of us
  • On the other hand, we who aren’t in that group are crushed and squeezed in the darkness and lawlessness I spoke of earlier as America goes down
  • What this perspective does is begin to make sense of the Days of Noah prophecy

  • If the correlation is to those who reject God and do so in a blatant manner just like our elites and the elites of Noah’s day, then why shouldn’t we – the righteous just like Noah – experience persecution, tribulation, suffering?
  • Noah was mocked and scorned for building an ark in the middle of nowhere
  • Scripture doesn’t tell us much about what he endured, but he did try to warn people of the wrath to come through his righteous preaching
  • Think about how well that probably went over
  • Can you say, “lead balloon?”
  • Maybe believers today are analogous to Noah in this regard
  • I wrote a short story several years ago that reflects this clueless attitude
  • You can find the link in the Sources links on the Rumble page if you’d like to read the story
  • Can you imagine the hoots and hollers of the people around Noah when the animals started showing up and entering the ark?
  • How about for us today as we speak of the pre-Trib Rapture?
  • That’s pretty roundly dismissed – isn’t it?
  • Why shouldn’t we see a lot more nastiness against us in the coming days?
  • We believe that God WILL judge mankind for its sins, particularly for the complete hardness of their hearts that cause them to worship any God but the One true God
  • More than that, humanity has chosen to shed more innocent blood than we can even imagine
  • There is a day of reckoning for these actions
  • God clearly states this principle in Genesis 9:5-6

And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. From his fellow man I will require a reckoning for the life of man.

“Whoever sheds the blood of man,
by man shall his blood be shed,
for God made man in his own image.

  • God’s wrath – because of His just nature – must and will be poured out upon this earth for these abominations

  • Since we talked about Noah, you may ask, “What about the Lot prophecy?”
  • That seems to be a little different as to who or what is judged.
  • How does that fit into these ideas I’m proposing?
  • Actually, when we consider the people in Sodom and Gomorrah, how much different were they really from those of Noah’s days?
  • They were certainly a depraved bunch
  • We know these people were the epitome of Paul’s description in Romans 1:26-28:

26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.

  • In this sense, do you think the depravity practiced during Noah’s Days was any different?
  • From the pseudepigraphical book of 1 Enoch, we know that significant debauchery was part of everyday life in the antediluvian era
  • Not only were the inhabitants of the land, i.e. sons of God, Nephilim, and very likely whatever humans looked like at the time, also practicing bestiality . . .
  • The odds are high that it was from these beings having intercourse with animals that the so-called myths of various creatures such Minotaurs, Cyclops, Satyrs, and other such creatures originated
  • Although we don’t see it in the text, given the absolute corruption of these souls in Sodom – after all, these were so far gone that God had to destroy them – would you bet against them likewise doing what those in Noah’s Day were doing?
  • Maybe there weren’t any fallen divine beings in Sodom (although who knows?), but in all other ways, they were a sorry bunch and just ripe for God’s judgment
  • But, of course, what were their lives like?
  • Normal – for them
  • Nothing to see that was anything special because they wallowed in wickedness
  • They were like fish in the proverbial fish bowl
  • They didn’t know they were in the water of extreme wickedness because they no longer had a Godly conscience
  • It had been seared long ago
  • Would any of these people have hesitated to persecute those with good morals?

  • And that brings us to persecution
  • We don’t have to look far beyond the borders of America to see the persecution of Christians
  • Few people know this, but Chiapas State in Mexico is considered a Hostile area against Christians by Voice of the Martyrs
  • It has a high concentration of people who practice a syncretistic blend of ancient pagan practices and Roman Catholicism
  • There is also a strong Marxist movement in that region
  • Because of these belief systems, Christians are targeted for persecution
  • The bottom line is that anywhere there are non-Christian communities, persecution against true followers of Jesus Christ is typical
  • Think about the stand of legitimate Christ-followers against depravities such as LGBT abominations or abortion
  • Even today in the United States, Christians are belittled, marginalized, and often under pressure from anti-God contingents, whether those are local governments or their neighbors
  • Considering the increasing lawlessness, can you conceive of this situation improving?
  • Some of us in the Bible prophecy community have been warning for some time that because of the apostasy in the churches, the wolves will soon come out
  • Many within churches will show their true colors – and it won’t be pretty
  • Just think about the largely pagan-demonic response to the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v Wade and send abortion law back to individual states
  • This is just the tip of the iceberg
  • Because so many churches have been infiltrated with Marxist ideologies – and we’ve even seen numerous so-called pastors declaring that abortion is the demonstration of God’s love – how long will it be before we have a clear attack on faithful believers in Christ by the faux sheep under these ravenous wolf pastors?
  • I guarantee you that persecution will soon come from within as well as outside true houses of faith
  • The demons have been released with the SCOTUS ruling
  • When you see people howling in the streets in their rage against pro-life believers, this is not normal human behavior
  • In the West we’ve tended to downplay demon possession because of psychotherapy
  • Every mental affliction can supposedly be treated with long hours on the psychiatric couch and mind-calming drugs
  • Have you ever wondered when reading the Bible how there could be so many demon-possessed people that Jesus cured?
  • Do you really think we have fewer such people today?
  • In a nation and a world that has rejected Jesus Christ because people don’t believe in God – or at least the God of the Bible – whose children will all these people be?
  • God’s or Satan’s children?
  • Open the door of your soul with mind-altering drugs or occult New Age practices or even simply anti-God beliefs – such as it’s perfectly okay to murder the unborn – and what do you think is going to take up residence?
  • Do we have marijuana dispensaries in many cities?
  • Do we have fentanyl flooding the streets?
  • Do we have schools teaching yoga and Mindfulness and encouraging children to consult with their imaginary spirit guides?
  • Are schools likewise encouraging every possible kind of depraved practice in literally every classroom teaching every child?
  • Do we have teachers who proudly declare on TikTok how they are brainwashing young skulls full of mush?
  • What do you think the odds are for all these people under all these influences to be wide open to demonic infiltration?
  • And who are they against?
  • They hate the true people of God who declare Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
  • Trust me . . . persecution is knocking at our door
  • But . . . you say . . . how does this comport with the Days of Noah prophecy?
  • The simple answer is that if the so-called normal people are really all the ones under the influence of Satan – and they are carrying on in their own perverted ways – eating, drinking, marrying men with men, etc . . .
  • Then persecution can easily come to us who are not part of that description

  • Lastly, what about peace and security that everyone will be declaring in the final days?
  • Think about how the Left has continually declared the need for tolerance and are themselves the least tolerant
  • Again, the question must be . . . Who is saying “Peace and security”?
  • The pagans with their New Age beliefs are looking for a Great Awakening
  • They believe the Age of Aquarius is upon us – the time of unbounded love – of birth and revival – where the potential for human growth and development has no limits
  • Similarly, many misguided Christians are also seeking a Great Awakening
  • It differs from the pagan one in that they think Christians will conquer the Seven Mountains of the culture, retake the world, and shape it for Christ to return
  • Neither of these groups has a true Biblical perspective that in fact the end of the world as we know it is very near
  • But of course, both pagan and misguided Christian are declaring peace and security
  • For all people thinking this way, the Rapture will be an immense surprise and the following Tribulation even worse

  • In summary, when we consider the players in view in the Days of Noah prophecy, and we pinpoint them as essentially not us, i.e. true born-again Christians, then we can see there is no contradiction
  • The elites and the deceived will be doing all the normal things they do completely oblivious of what God intends to do in His soon wrath and judgment
  • As believers, we can easily be targeted by these people and experience persecution that we know will be even worse during the Tribulation
  • Those who fantasize that a new and revived world free of Christian influences is just around the corner – or even those who think their works will bring a massive change in the hearts of people around the globe – all these can cry for peace and security all they want
  • The Bible tells us otherwise
  • Time is growing short
  • If you don’t see that, you’ve got your eyes closed
  • Indeed, the sky is red and a storm is coming
  • Understanding that, we need to be daily in the Word of God and seeking His face
  • Because of our faithfulness and obedience, He will keep us close
  • What we must do is continue to be watchful and alert
  • Don’t grow weary of doing good
  • It’s very easy to get discouraged, but we can’t do that
  • We need to continue faithfully believing and keeping our eyes on Jesus
  • Very soon our Lord will come for His beloved Bride to take us home

Thanks Gary, you’ve given us more food for thought.

I am reading Ryan Pitterson’s The Final Nephilim and he certainly believes the AntiChrist is a Nephilim, born of the seed of Satan. He makes a convincing and scriptural argument.

The Lord knows He has far more than 8 or 10 ‘righteous’ people living here now. His Church numbers at least in the hundreds of millions worldwide (but no where near the proclaimed 2.3 billion Christians stated by those who track such claims) and so His plans pre-Rapture can not be directly correlated to Noah or Lot…He has too many children for that.

Likely the Days of Noah and Days of Lot analogies will apply to the people left here after the Rapture and shortly before Jesus’s Second Coming. Those who are martyred obviously will not be able to witness to the unsaved-they will be dwelling under God’s throne awaiting vengeance, and most of the unsaved will be transhumanly marked or extremely wicked (the elites will likely exclude themselves as long as possible from taking the mark)…modern versions of the Nephilim and the evildoers in Sodom and Gomorrah. Hence the Noah and Lot analogies.

At the very end, just before the Lord’s return, the majority of those who have either not been martyred or ‘marked’ will be the remnant of Israel, protected in the desert.

The more I think about it the more it seems likely that the Rapture is closely tied to what Jesus told us in Luke 21. There is likely double prophecy there although pretarists use this to declare that there will be no Rapture and the prophecy in that chapter has already been fulfilled. Uh, not even close. However in there is a strong message for us today. We may very well suffer before the Rapture because God is patient and He will want to remove as many of us as possible before the Tribulation.

Regardless, we are seeing the signs and are told to look up because our redemption is near. Very near. Maranatha!

One of the thoughts that has occurred to me is that, among other things, the jabs are experimental in the sense that the elites may want to see how they can use them – ultimately – personally in their own bodies to advance their immortality agenda. Not sure how this might work given the many adverse effects, but I don’t doubt that they want to use biotech to enhance their lives. I wonder = seeing the fibrous “clots” that grow in the jabbed – if those may play into something they can use for their own purposes. Likewise the graphene oxide structures. How might those morph into something “good” from their perspective to alter their body composition? I think there will be a lot of supposedly more than human, but in reality less than, who will be running around in the Trib.
